A group of developers named Team SoL or Shadows of Lylat have decided to design a Starfox game of there own. the project is entirely separate from any Nintendo influence and the project currently is only open because Nintendo has yet to take any steps in trying to close it and when released the game will be free of charge.

the site has some video, screenshots, and music and I must say I'm impressed it looks better than one would think for an independent project. While it's not a console title it will support for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Either this is YOUR developer's blog, or someone's gonna get sued. Maybe both. It can't be an official title without having the Nintendo logo plastered somewhere.

Well so far Nintendo has yet to notice to project and when and if it ever sees the light of day it will be offered for free to help stave off a lawsuit from Nintendo. My biggest hope is that Nintendo will realize people want a real starfox game and make one for the Wii and perhaps this game can make some adjustments so Nintendo can't complain of sue them.
