Why make this contest?:

Okay, I need more gang memebers for Bridon's entourage..thingy XD and Im currently writing bits of Ferdinand's life and Bridon and his gang are a big part of his life.


What is the story about?:

He lived in a wolf pack with his parents. They expected much out of him but Ferdinand was a wuss and was very quiet and figety. He also had a younger son too. Ferdinand's parents wanted Ferdy to be the next pack leader and He didnt think he was good enough for that and wanted to pass it on to his brother. Ferdy's dad and mother were very much in love but when ferdy's dad was alone and soposto take care of them both, he left to do his own things. Ferdy looked after his younger bro but he soon ran off. Ferdy of corse went looking. Not because of the concquences of losing him, but because he loved him as a bro. He soon encountered a bear and fought it after seening it attacked his brother. Ferdy got badly ingured and looked everywhere for his bro. After locating him, He was dead. Ferdy blamed himself for being carless and was to ashamed to go back to the pack. He barried his brother under some snow and cried. HE soon wandered off bleeding a waterfall. He found some local dogs (in nome lol only place on earth with dogs) and when to ask for a place to stay. Bridon was surpized at appearance and decides to help him..with the help of his gang..

What Im looking for:

- ORIGINALITY. I want the characters to each have different and original personalities and backgrounds that make a gang fun and bring something different to each character.
- NICE DOGS. I dont want evil or violent dogs in the gang that wants to kill them all i mean, dude, your soposto be friends lol
- DOGS AND USE BREEDS. I want some new breeds not the same thing over and oveR! I mean yes, It can be a hybrid with a husky. If it's a hyrid with a wolf, then please make it LOOK like it have some wolfish features!
- BE CREATIVE! If you want your character to have a love interest with another, suggest it! but It doesnt mean it will happen! If your character has a rivalry with another, DO IT! xD
- About 5 or 6 winners will be chosen. Depends on how many I want in xDD

Here's my entry for Bridon's Gang!

Name: Hale

Age: 1 1/2ish

Breed: 50% German Shepherd 50% Dalmation

Gender: male

Parents: Father - Scout, Mother - Lasoyna

Siblings: Brother - Australia

Mate: none

Pups: none

Crush: none yet

Personality: Calm and very cool and also somewhat mysterious which he finds hilarious. He loves putting others in suspense about himself and often leaves them hanging. Hale is always known to keep his cool and never over react or blow his top at anything. He always tries to remain calm but if something really irritates him he'll explode and thats when you want to watch out! But he usually just stays cool, he talks but not enough to make him seem like an annoying chatterbox. But he isn't some emo dog that never shows emotion. He's very social but chooses his friends carefully, which means he doesn't have a whole lot of them. Its also a rare occasion if he smiles, so if you get him to smile you must be something special. Hale is also very competitive, he isn't usually the fighting type but he will never back down from a challenge, no matter what it is.

Likes: His father and mother, Aus, leaving others in suspense.

Hates: Dog who pick on his brother, the fact that his father had to leave.

Fears: That his father will leave again, being alone forever, that he'll hurt someone really bad withouth meaning to.

History: Hale was born to Scout a purebred German Shepherd and Lasonya a purebred Dalmation. His father was a retired police dog after getting injured by a stray piece of shrapnal so now he just stays at home with his family. He met Lasonya when she wandered by his house one day and his owners decided to take them in. They soon had a litter of puppies but all but one died because Lasonya wasn't fully healthy from her life on the streets. They raised Hale lovingly, not having to worry about attention since he was the only pup, but one day Scout got called back to the K-9 unit and he was forced to leave, just before he left Lasonya announced that she was pregnant with another litter, Hale was shocked and almost scared that he would have to share the attention but when Aus was born he didn't mind at all. He loved his little brother but often wasn't himself around him. For some reason Aus reminded him of his father, even though they were nothing alike, and Hale began not talking. He missed his father greatly and would often go on violence streaks and no one knew why. And when his father actually did come back Hale didn't change, he was actually angry at his father for leaving, he was mad that he left his mate and unborn child behind and it seemed that he didn't even care. Hale started spending more and more time away from home, instead he hung out with his friends almost all the time, leaving Scout at home to worry about him. But what he didn't know was that he was also hurting his little brother because Scout was to busy worrying about Hale and he barley seemed to notice Aus. So Aus would start following Hale, trying to become more like his big brother. Hale decided that since he was only hurting his little brother that he would run away, hoping that this would solve all the problems that he thought he caused. Thats how he met Bridon and his gang.

As my character: He was in my head for the longest time and I finally created him, he's still developing but I like him enough that I don't wanna give up on him. He deserves to be used for something awesome. Also my character Aus needed a brother/family. ANd I thought it would be cool to have a brother that looked nothing like him.

Other: Since Hale and Aus are brothers Hale is also a cousin of Bandwagon (c) LuckyShamrock. Also Hale seems to attract others, they just naturally flock to him and he doesn't know why.

Why do you want this character to be in Bridon's gang or a Pack memeber?
I think Hale would be perfect for Bridons gang. He didn't really have a purpose before but joining Bridon's gang would really help me thinkin of new ideas for him. Plus I've always liked Bridon, and Hale's personality is unique enough that I think he would be perfect for his gang.

Personality: Loyal, funny, ladie like, determined to finish or solve everything she started. Very friendly, Loving, caring, obedient, not too chatty, knows how to talk to somebody who isn't comfortable with conversations, understanding,
considerate. The type of dog who's only into the "nonflirty".
Likes: Warm nights, boy's, stars, running on wet sand
Hates: rain, any bad weather.
Fears: Broken bottles.
History: When very young, she was picked on because she was very small, but when she got older, she was mostly being annoyed by some flirty boy trying to make her like him. But after her human-who was a biter old drunk- slashed her with his broken beer bottle, after she whined for him to play with her. After his neighbors heard her cries, he was taken to jail, and she was put up for adoption. After being adopted by a sweet, twenty-five-year-old ladie, she was named Kayni, after her owners old collie, who died after her ex boyfriend beat him after she left him. When she went into town, she didn't let dogs see her eye. Only her friends and very close ones did. (including the gang)
As my character: Well, a LONG time ago, I wanted to make a character that looked like my Guinea Pig. So I sketched up Keyni. I enterd her in TONS of contest, and never won a single one.

Why do you want this character to be in Bridon's gang Because like I said, she's never won. And she would be great for helping with things, her owner works a lot so she can spend a lot of time outside with the gang. I think breed mix is original, I've never seen a chow mix on here. And who said a gang can't have a member who's a little lady-like? Show me the "Gang Rules" book!

Personality: Skitish, she scares very easily. Eternity isn't the type of dog to yell out or take large risks, or even small ones (unless her curiousity takes over). She tends to shy away from larger dogs (even tho she is fairly big), and small dogs aswell. She regrets things easily, and always blames herself for other's mistakes. The good side of Eternity? She is a very trust worthy friend, and will keep ANY secret. And will guard anything with her life, if told to.
Likes: Her ears, the quiet.
Hates: Cats, her scars, loud noises.
Fears: Cats! She is extreamly terrified of them
History: Curiousity killed the cat - er, hurt the dog in this case. As a pup, Eternity was adopted into a house with 7 cats, all very prissy and up tight. Well, when the very curious pup came into their home, the cats avoided her like the plauge. Going to far one time, in a playfull mood Eternity pounced on the 'leader' of the cats. She got mauled over. Leaving her with bruises and cuts along her belly, and a very large one across her left eye. Their owner was determined to keep the pup, and make sure her cats behaved so they tried to raise Eternity to be like the cats. The dog soon got fed up with the royal treatment and ran away.... Only to be caught again. The humans gave up with that, and decided the mut would toughen up, and soon win leader ship. Of course, Eternity usually falls to traps planned by the felines, and searches to her friends for help.
As my character: Even tho I do need to stop making characters, I couldn't resist this girlie ;D I wasn't going to make her 'offical' just keep as a minion to my doodles. If you havent guess, she WAS going to be a african wild dog, but meh... the design didn't plan out nicley to be one. Well I kept the body type basically for... originality? I guess. I brought her to life when I found somthing to do with her: this contest (and if not, maybe in a story..)

Well, I developed the character mostly because of this contest, thinking she would be great for it xD. But with her 'cat' problems I figure it might make some interesting things in the story, xD and art! I have been drawing alot of her xDDD I know Ferdy is.. a bit liek her but I was thinking Ferdy could get.. some commen ground with her... I guess xD

Crush: Slight crush on Bridon but not major crush (I hope ya don't mind)
Personality: Bantarynn is fun-loving and takes just about everything as a joke. She loves to be around people and doesn't do well on her own. Bantarynn isn't generally serious, or quick temepered but she is serious about the work she does around the farm as sheepdog. Bantarynn is very tough and doesn't usually let what people say get to her.
Likes: The ones close to her, her owners, joking, playing, laughing, being liked, males (normally), sheep
Hates: Being disliked, being hurt (both physically and mentally), being deprived of something she likes
Fears: Big, strong males
History: Bantarynn lived with her mother, and her mothers owner, for six months waiting to be adopted, and eventually she got adopted by a couple with 2 children and a show-dog called Mindy. They owned a farm and Banty did work as a sheepdog there. When she was out on a walk with Mindy, Mindy was forced to have puppies because she refused to mate a male. Fortunately Bantarynn wasn't hurt, but this left Bantarynn scared of males like the dogs she saw.
Bantarynn soon regained confidence a year after the incident where she made good friends.
If she gets accepted - She meets Bridon after 1 year of being scared to step outside, he introduces her to the gang, and she begins to hang around with them
As my character: I just mainly draw her but I want to do a bit more with her

Why do you want this character to be in Bridon's gang or a Pack memeber?: Becuase, like I said in As my CHaratcer, I want to do a lot more with her than draw her. Also, it would be good for her as a character if she hhung around in a big group

Personality: Psychotic, prone to bizarre ramblings. Desoto is a paranoid schizophrenic.

History: Before his downfall, Desoto was just one of the guys. Cared about his racing career and lived life to the fullest. When he turned 1, something seemed to snap. He would get angry, start screaming at other dogs and accusing them of conspiring against him to do anything from ruining his racing career to stealing his thoughts.

As time went on, Desoto became more and more violent. He eventually became so crazy his owner couldn't keep him anymore. He now wanders the streets of Nome aimlessly, talking to himself and sometimes preaching to the others about the dangers of "them." Who "they" are, nobody knows except Desoto. And nobody is brave enough to ask.

He joined Bridon's gang because they were the only ones who wouldn't kill him (according to the voices in Desoto's head.) He is a good distraction when the gang steals food as he just barks, drools, and acts weird.

As my character: I was tired of the spunky, stubborn, and independant or sweet, loving, and omgfluffy red-faced pups, so I decided to go with something not so cuddly.

Personality: Charismatic and prideful of his appearance, he will go out of his comfort zone if he likes you. If you aren't on his good side, he has no moral qualms about leaving you behind. Yet at the same time, he's a pacifist who absolutely refuses to kill. Severely injure, yes. Kill, no.

Likes: Negotiations, the gang, cheeseburgers

Hates: Threats, thunder, glass

Fears: Things that can cut him

History: Adonis was born to a pair of Ibizan Hounds owned by a breeder who was more interested than money than the care of his dogs. He was born with a blood disorder due to inbreeding; he bruises easily. While that has made him more careful, it didn't slow him down. He was purchased to be used as a pet product model. He was used to wearing designer collars and getting the best food, but it bored him and he hated the superficiality of the modeling business. He tore off his collar and escaped, looking for a minimalist life. He found it with Bridon.

As my character: I wanted something that wasn't a husky, but was still cool. I found the Ibizan Hound and went "I WANT ONE" and Adonis was born.

Other: My real life cat has a blood disorder from inbreeding as well since he's a purebred.

Why do you want this character to be in Bridon's gang?: Adonis needs something to do. He has been planned as Ryee's crush but other than that, he had nothing to do.
