Two dogs fall in love but a gang of dogs that rule the streets don't allow street dogs and dogs that have homes mate. The male in the story is the dog that has a home and the street dog is the female. They have to over come prejudice and the gang of dogs together. But they eventually get driven out of town together. They go searching everywhere where they can be together where no one will judge them. Along the way they meet nice animals and not so nice animals and predators that are ten times bigger and more powerful than they are.

they succeed in running away so but the male goes after the pack and finds them. He rescues his girl and kills the leader of the pack. After the leader gets killed, they run away and they never see the pack again.

Crap. Now what?

On a dark, stormy, and sandy day, Ruger was at home where everyday a black cat comes in through his doggy door and torments him. Today is different Ruger thought as the cat jumped up on the couch and walked across it proudly. Once the cat jumped down and rubbed its' tail on Ruger's face, Ruger growled very threateningly and the cat jumped, not expecting to be growled at. As Ruger got up the cat sprinted through the doggy door and Ruger followed. Once he lost the cat, Ruger kept on running but looked around, trying to find that blasted cat, but, all of a sudden, he came to a stop with a loud thud. When he looked at what he hit, Ruger gasped. It was the most beautiful dog he has every seen in his life. He got up and said shyly "I am sorry miss. I should have watched where I was going. Is there anything I can do to help you out? I feel awfully guilty."

Calico walked along the sand on a dark day, but even with it being stormy you'd expect it to be coolored, but insted the clouds seemed to warm up to sand, burning her paw pads. She wanted to whimper, but she wasn't like that. She was tough, and she would walk forever along the hot sands if she had to. She has soon saw a black and white cat run past her, and hse watched it, tempted to chase it but stood her ground. She continued walking but soon was knocked over by a clumsy black lab. She listened to him speak. "Nah, its fine." She said carelessly.

Ruger walked back a couple of feet and said to the female dog "May I ask for your name, miss?"

"Calico." She said quickly.

He smiled and said "My name is Ruger. You have a pretty name. I like it. Are you a street dog?"

Calico smiled. "Well then hey Ruger." Her smile faded when he asked if she was a street dog. "Well, yes..."
