There are 13680 members [on the forums at least] There is going to be a repeat on linearts. The only thing I can say is... "Deal with it."

Not much can be be done. The thing that bugs me is; people can't color the lineart in neatly. They look all sloppy like such. I don't understand how it can happen, but does. HOW HARD IS IT TO COLOR A LINEART IN. You might as well call them sloppyins Sloppy: Neat:

And theres a tool evan that helps its called "The magic wand Tool" They should take a stab at working with layers and the tool.

GhostlyVividDreams wrote: Mighty--thank you for understanding my point. It is really not that hard to color in a lineart. I know I done it myself but only used it for a character sheet. Not for laziness  Um, in your first post it CLEARLY states that you are annoyed at the fact of people useing one person's line art, also known as repetive line arts. So coloring is not an issue, and please re-read your topic title and your first post to gather your thoughts. It is annoying when someone writes something about something else, and then they pretend they changed their idea... -_- Quote: Look, I am getting tired of looking at some image galleries with nothig but Key Fedewa's linearts or anyone else's instead of rendering at least a few of them.I know that Key Fedewa's linearts are free to use but maybe put some effort and make a few of your own? Original post, correct? Well, I don't see anything about coloring it. It's about making and useing lineart. Please stay on topic... ._.; Now as for the matter itself, as KZ said, deal with it! There's A LOT of people here, so there will be repeated line arts. And definantly art theft. So best to just deal with it... ^^;

Yu' wrote: I have never understood why the Kay Fedewa's lines are so popular, i think they are not originals and not very good... Because of the Blackblood Alliance. She's garnered a lot of popularity from the comic and the animu wolf crowd thinks it's omgkawaii or something, I have no idea why it's popular either. After I found out about Kay Fedewa's attitude towards others (i.e. sicking her fans on people she thinks stole from her, which by her logic is anyone with a red wolf. Or a wolf character in general.) I stopped using her lineart.

I don't like using linearts so I don't have that problem. [Unless i'm the one making it] Lol.

I don't particularly mind using linearts, but I do agree heavily with Cat's point. Not every character is the same, so if you do use linearts (like I do, to conceptualize and show off designs of characters that I will be writing about and/or roleplaying with - it's extremely helpful) you should vary them for the type of character. I have been guilty of using similar linearts for several different characters, which was largely due to the fact that I didn't have many readily available at first. However, even with the few I had initially I tried to mix it up. Also, I understand about people putting absolutely NO effort into coloring in a lineart. It's rather frustrating, because people could even do it the way I do it (the long way) and print them out and color them. I mean, how hard is it to really do that? Rendering can be a little trickier (especially if you're on a laptop with only a mouse pad T.T) But, even I'm trying to put forth some effort in learning to render better, I just refuse to post anything until I'm confident it doesn't look like a disappointment. As far as using Kay Fed's linearts...they're readily available, free, and she doesn't care, which is why I think they're so popular, in addition to her comic. Not to mention, they're fairly easy to work with. Though I must say, my all time favorites are Wolf250's free linearts ^.^ So pretty! But not always easy to work with if you aren't already sure on a design and keep changing it. For instance: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/ ... radult.jpg and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/ ... e/scan.jpg I actually did create both of their designs on these linearts, but it was a bit rough.
