Hey folks, just got back from the mayhem fest. I arrived late due to traffic so I only caught the end of BFMV's set, Killswitch's set and Slayer. the show was amazing, during the KSE show Howard got really wasted and was hilarious. my friend has video I can share later, as for the performance everything was brilliant. the drummer, Justin Foley, was spot on accurate never missing a note and the band was sick perfect... the set was (Corrections Pending)

Never Again
The Reckoning
Starting Over
A Light In A Darkened World
The End Of Heartache
My Curse
Holy Diver

As for SLAYER, it was the definition of insane, I have never seen a band so perfected live, killer sound, great playing, Jeff and Dave were on fire tonight and honestly I think its some of the best playing I've ever heard Dave do, his playing had absolute PINPOINT accuracy and the kit sounded killer, the lighting show was pure madness in motion. just ******* sick and perfect for the music and vibe from the band, the set pending correction was..

Darkness Of Christ
Disciple
War Ensemble
Mandatory Suicide
Psychopathy Red
South Of Heaven
Dead Skin Mask
Raining Blood

I went to go see Slayer and was kind of disappointed by their set list. I expected a few more songs from their Reign in Blood/South of Heaven era.

Mayhem Fest was f*cking AMAZING! I went to the show in Hartford , CT. Got there just as Whitechapel started...pretty awesome. Then got pretty close to the stage for God Forbid...lead singer did an awesme job getting the crowd hyped. Then stayed there to claim my spot for All That Remains. But I watched Behemoth from the distance XD. All that Remains isntthat great live to be honest, but Phil did a great job onthe crowd. I was about 15 ft from the stage and was pinned agianst a fence LOL. I kept pushing and it was amazing. Then I saw Job For A Cowboy, they were okay. Then got really close for Trivium, I got about 10 ft from the stage. But geee the lead singer is an *******. Then after we watched Cannibal Corpse from the distance too...and cut the line to meet All That Remains <3 I met everyone and got a poster and a CD signed. And I got to talk to Phil for quite awhile. Dude that made my frikkin year! Hes so sweet. Then I missed part of Bullet for my Valentine's set. They were pretty nice. Then Killswitch Engage was quite good too. Then Slayer just bombed...there performance was a dissapointment. Then Marylin Manson put on a god show condsidering it was him LOL. But yah it was pretty amazing!

I honestly don't think there could ever be a lineup as good as this ever again.
