Before Turbo was a war veteran and Lucy was popular they were just pups. Follow them through their puphood, adolescents, and finally the day that these two were torn apart and Turbo deployed into Iraq

Underneath those bushes was Turbo a this roughed up Tamaskan hunting for a meal when he heard Lucy and her mother watching over her but he wasn't worried about her mother, he was worried about. He was more worried about being caught by the other puppies for he was a stray an outcast no one respected him and...he was about to be caught.

"Hey there's that stray that took my master's food get him! a Golden Retriever pup yelled and gave chase after Turbo. He sighed it was the second time this week he was caught.

Again I have no hiding spot he thought and panic took over his mind when he saw Lucy's mother and ran towards the home looking up at the elderly collie with puppy eyes. This was very important to him if she didn't accept him. "Can you help me your neighbors children are about to attack me" he begged to Lucy's mother and then saw Lucy herself. She had beautiful eyes and he thought being accepted by her would give him a little slack.

"I...I took some food from your neighbor's home. You see I live well nowhere s...so I steal in order to live I steal and live in abandoned places. I also have no family as well" he gulped honesty radiating from his eyes as the other pup's "gang snarled at him but soon seemed to be captivated by Lucy. Turbo expected this and went behind the bush digging out a bag of food that soon turned to be many and bowed his head apology.

"He still stole and he's a dirty stray. Why won't you report him the golden retriever pup asked.

It was then that Turbo snapped and attacked the pup in front of him causing a brawl to break out. He had been called a stray and made fun of for too long. His weak body though didn't have the strength as he was pinned to the ground by the other pups each one throwing dirt at him.

Turbo was surprised no one had ever stuck up for him. Normally, they would have the council banish him but that wasn't the case as he breathed a sigh of relief and looked over to Lucy as her mother was scholding the pups. "You have very pretty eyes"[/b he complemented but as soon as he figured he overstayed his welcome and soon made his way off the steps of Lucy's home. No one wanted a stray in their home and he was no different. He gave a smile to the aging collie and looked at the street. [b]"I've overstayed my welcome I guess you want me to leave now don't ya. Thank you though for your help" he said and gave a respectable bow but he didn't want to go on the road again.

Turbo felt very ashamed of his actions as he was scholded by Lucy's mother. "I can't remember any of my family. My mom died while she gave birth to me and my dad was only around to keep me fed though it was all out of defence because it seemed like men were after us. All I have been doing is traveling from coast to coast looking for an owner or a family to love. he said but tears and sadness welled up in his eyes.

"All I've ever wanted was to not only survive but to make friends. If I have to give up stealing I will. It much more worth it to make friends" he said and with pleading eyes looked up to Lucy's mother. "If I am asking too much I apologize but I really would like to stay with you. the elderly collie had the same sort of care that his mother had when she was raising and there was also the fact that he was the only surviving pup in his family....

Turbo smiled as her mother went to get her owners and then looked over to Lucy. There was a question he was meaning to ask but he forgot it and nuzzled her quickly jumping to his feet bounding down the steps in happiness into a very playful position. " Come on Lucy let's play tag. You're it!" he yelled happily but he now rembered his question. Where was Lucy's father?
