Hayumi's Story

Hayumi smiled as she stood on her father's head.His ears alone were larger that her head.He pointed to the stars, telling her which and every king lived in them."Hey Daddy?" She said as she snuggled coser to him "Yes?" He looked down at his heaven "Do you think bubby is up there?" She whispered helplessly, a look to match.Her father sighed "yes, your brother Koran would've made a great king.." He whispered in pain.He rested his head on his last cub.

Hayumi and her father Mufasa awoke, the stars' lightwas replaced by a more radiant glow.The sun Hayumi guessed threw her eye lids.Mufasa picked up his cub and began to walk home, she soon fell back to sleep.

A loud rumbling sound came from her father's chest and she jumped awake."Scar!Get out of our way!" He snapped coldly, but still calmly-He had a way of doing that-Scar laughed "Our?" he said in a mocking tone as he itched Hayumi's stomach.Mufasa slapped him, leaving four red lines across his paw.Scar made a loud roar, Mufasa followed, and Hayumi screamed.

It has been one year since her father's death, one year and one month since her brother Koran's and nine months since her mother's gruesom death.She stays in a pride her father once nurtured, once loved but he is gone now.All rules have been broken, no son to take over either.But of course, Hayumi belives she should be leader, but Scar is in her way.

Koda's Story

Koda was born in a nice family, but for some reason rebelled away from it all, hating the speical treatment.So he ran.One night after a long journey he layed in a feild of soft grass and smiled, empty dens surrounded him, no markings to show ownership. "I'm making my own pride." He muttered to himself proudly."But I will need lions..." He whispered again, looking around.He soon saw a beautiful female, Hayumi.He smiled and looked at her "You." He mouthed.

[Okay I guess we can just skip Bios.]

Hayumi sighed as she heard a tortured scream followed by a hyena's laugh in the den next to her.They were doing raids again, one thing she was getting bored of.A stupid Hyena would come in and check all of your belongings, making sure you hadn't taken in anything.But not only would they toutch your items they would scare you and growl and beat you for saying a word to them when they asked you a question.But she had trained them, well most of them.A male came in "New?" She smiled at him and he automaticaly went to slash her face, she caught his paw in her jaws and crunched down.He yelped in pain "Shh..." She said evily, watching the male walk out.

Saya ran threw the grass, little blades of helpless death in between her paws and removing themselves, making small incesions in her paw.Her tail flinched as she felt a small prick in her back "Saya!Saya!" The pain said annoyingly "What Sonya?" She asked, her ears down and eyes rolling."Wanna play?" The pain asked "No!" She snapped as the pain began shedding water.Saya looked at it and frowned "I'm sorry..." She muttered and Sonya smiled.

Sora stretched her legs to where they hurt "Yo', bro." She muttered, fixing her bangs "Wake up." She kicked a can at his face and snickered.Her eyes glimmered as her brother threw the can at her head "Gah!What the f***?" She screetched."You..Are...Annoying!And you are the only reason I wish mom didn't die!" He feel back again and pawed a invisable butterfly and rolled back over.

History: Kodi grew up in a nice family, but he rebeled, wanting freedom from the strict rules of his pride. Later on, he finds the others and becomes the king of his new pride.
Personality: rebellious, sarcactis, opinoinated, can seem rude but is very caring deep down, has potentail to be a great leader because he knows what is right and what is wrong for him and for others, knows the right decisions but does not always make them

History: Taka was born just after his father was banished from the pride for killing a cub. His mate when with him and Taka was born a loner. He was the only one of his siblings to survive. When his mother told him what his father did, Taka stormed off on his own in an angry rage.
Personality: brave, cunning, sly, protective over his new pride mates, has the potential to be a leader but not the desire, he covers everything up with a crooked grin and isn;t too good and serious and emotional convertions, laughs things off when he can't handle them

History: Casra lived in a veyr large pride that treated the males harshly by banishing them when they reach the age of one unless they were a prince or part of the royol family. Casra was fed up with this when her brother was banished. She disappeared, unnoticed, and has been searching for her brother, Cono, ever since. (I may join as him later, when we make this a public rp)
Personality: fun-loving and flirty, adventurous and curious about everything, she can be klutzy at times and often trips on rocks, surprisingly she is an excellent hunter and runner

History: Aiyana was born in a small pride that was planning on growing into something big, but a another pride wanted their land and declared war. The smaller pride had no chance, and Aiyana, being just a cub, ran as soon as the attack began. She has been on her own, raising herself, since then.
Personality: she is young but she no loner has the innocence of someone her age should, she has seen to much, she is very serious and emotional, she hates jokes and playfullness thinking that it will only cause trouble, she doesn't think starting a new pride is a good idea for obvious reasons

Hayumi laid back down, the damp den felt smaller as she looked outside, to the left there was Scar
and her Aunt Zira, alongside with Kiara-Who sided with them-,Kovu, Vitani, and Nuka."Stupid..Mutts." She mumbled to herself.She then looked to the right, a open feild with gazelle and a water hole was shown, like some kind of painting."I can't stay here." She muttered as she opened the door to her den-A large peice of wood-and stepped outside.Scar's head jerked around and he smirked "Out here to play?" He snickered as Hayumi snarled "I don't play games." She walke dpast him, a sure fire way to get killed.He went to swing at her, but she moved just in time and he fell "I 'm a whole army." She smirked, her paw on his chest."You are just like your father!Aself-centered coward!" Scar leaped onto her, Hayumi's face went red as she snapped at him, growling intesnely."My father was no coward!" She kicked him off and ran, she ran for her rights, not from him.As she ran she thought about what Scar had said, about what she was leaving.She was leavinng the memories she had with her father.She looked back and saw Scar roaring angerly as Zira tended his wounds, Kiara acting like a little preppy angel, Kovu as a hero, and the two Scar offsprings growling at eachother for some unneeded reason.

Sonya and Saya continued to walk the path, the small cub silent as her sister growled."What is it?" Sonya bravley asked, Saya snapped her head around "Mom just had to leave me with you.." She sighed "Its not that I don't like you or anything, its just that well...I want to run away." Sonya didn't look to shocked, she looked pleased "Me to.." She muttered, sitting down.Saya looked at her sister, a wild look in her eyes, a happy look."Get on my back, we have a long run." Sonya smiled a big smile and leaped onto her older sister's back.

Roran rolled over in the sand, the sun beating down was like another blade of grass to him, normal."Why do we stay here?In this empty family home." He asked his sister as she picked a peice of dirt out of her nail."I dunno.." She muttered, still concentrated on her claw.Roran looked down and stood back up "Why can't we be normal?" He popped the question, his sister growled."Because!We were never normal!We will never be normal so stop dreaming!" She yelled, running into her den and closing the door.

Here it is.

Bic:// Koda stormed from the den that he shared with his family. "Get back here right now!" his mother called from inside, but Koda marched across the pride's camp. Many lions and lionesses looked up from where they lay, relaxing, the only thing that anyone did around here! Koda kept moving, ignoring their stares. To them, this place was paradise. So long as you stayed in your place and didn't stay out too late or question athority or moved out of the territory or had a mind of your own. Koda hated it there and left it all behind him as he walked into the unclaimed savanha.

Taka hadn't stopped walking since that morning. He had spotted a few scouts from a pride that lived nearby where he and his parents lived. The recognized Taka at once, saying that he must have been Leo's son. Taka had been confused and asked him mother about it since his father was out hunting. His mother sat him down and explained what had happened. She barely got through telling him that his father had murdered a cub before Taka was off and running. He had no idea why his father had done it, but he didn't stick around to find out. The desperate crise of his mother haunted Taka as he walked across the hot plains of Africa.

Casra lounged under the little bit of shade the umbrella tree gave. She was hot and tired. It had been two days since the last time she had found a decent watering hole. She had chewed a cactus flower yesterday and was able to somewhat quench her thirt with its water, but she needed some good fresh water. She wasn't hungry, though. Hunting had always come so naturally to Casra. She could have fallen asleep there, in the middle of the afternoon. She had been searching for her brother, Cono, now for two weeks. She had traveled by night too, since the cool gave her the courage to keep walking. She just wanted to find a cool den and sleep for a few days. This journey was starting to take its toll.

Aiyana stalked a small heared of antelope. She had put hunting off for far too long. She had found a decent sized peice of unclaimed land a few days ago and had grown so comfortable there, with its den and watering hole and tree, that she had pratically forgotten to eat. She seized the chance as soon as she had heard the pounding of hooves. She waited for the perfect moment before chasing the heard and going after a young one that was falling behind. It wouldn't be something that she would have brough back to the pride, when she had one, but it was the perfect size to feed just her.

Hayumi decided to look for a watering hole since she was beginning to become dehdryated[or however you spell it]She smelled the air for fish, those would come in handy in her starvation.She ran for the scent, as she got to the main sorce she smelled another scent, a lion.'What stupid lion followed me here?' SHe thought as she tured around to see a snarling female and male.

Saya nudged her brother as she saw the female approaching."Lets get he-" Roran stepped on her paw and made her flinch."WHo are you?" He growled at Haumi, she jumped around in shock but quickley to her place in the fight."I'm Hayumi." SHe looked at the male "Well, what do you want?" He snapped, HAyumi took a step forward and smiled "Just food, water, and a nice place to stay." Roran cocked his head at her politness, he walked off "Whatever..." He muttered.

Saya and Sonya took off towards a group of dens that she had heard of."Where are we going?" Her sister asked "TO find a new home." She smiled.

Koda didn't get far before he sat down with a sigh. Where was he going? He had no idea what he was thinking. Maybe he should turn back. No. That was the one thing he couldn't do. He had made up his mind to leave and he had to keep going even if it killed him. He ran with new energy until he spotted two females ahead of him. They were just little dots on the horizon, but Koda guess one was a cub because of her smaller size. Koda continued in a slower but still fast pace, slowly catching up to the two.

Taka growled and ripped a weed out from its roots with his paw. He was angry at his mother for keeping that lie from him for all these years. He was made at his father for murdering that cub all those years ago. He was made at himself, too, for abandoning them like he just had. But how could he go back and face his father now that he knew the truth?

Casra got up and stretched. She knew she needed to find water, even if she didn't want to get up again. She breathed in deep, trying to smell the scent of water. At first there was nothing, but as she took a few steps a wind from the east brushed passed her. There was the clear, murky scent of water. Excitedly beyong words, Casra ran and ran until she came to the source of the scent. It was a small but good sized watering hole. There was a small den dug into the sun next to it and three trees scattered around the whole scene. Casra went straight to the water and drank her fill.

Aiyana leapt at the small antelope and brought it down by biting its neck. She began eating some of it in the open because of her emense hunger. As soon as the ache in her stomach left, she grabbed the antelope's neck and began dragging it back to her paradise.

HAyumi kept watch of the two, but soon two more came, a female and her cub.She snalred at the female and made sure to keep a eye on her, the cub was no worry but the mother was a different story."I'm Sonya, and this is my sister Saya.We are well...Runaways...just looking for a better life." Sonya explained to the group."There was a male not from any of our prides, he doesn't carry a scent like any of you or me.Well, he was following me and he should be here if he continues." She told Hayumi.Hayumi ran threw different suprise attacks, just incase it was needed or if SOnya tried anything.

Saya stayed behind her sister's paw as the two females talked casualy, like they were to old friends sent to war."Well, I hope we can stay here, I mean you have lush grass, lots of trees and water, food is abudent and their are atleast eighty dens." She said, Roran stood as she spoke he had been in the shadows the whole time "You can stay, but remember that there is no king or queen here." He spoke with dignity, he was defintaly the leader at least.

Roran watched as the females came, he cringed at the thought of another male.After his talk with them his sister stood."Now, don't tell anyone about this place." SHe growled, not wanting their small pride to become any bigger since she knew more runaways would come soon.

Koda hid behind a rock and spied on the female and the cub as they spoke to what looked like a small pride. He debated whether to join them or not. He spotted a golden female with red markings under her eyes. It was than that he remembered that he had wanted to make a pride of his own. And his queen was going to be her. He took a deep breath and walked up to the lions. "So, what kind of gathering is this?" he asked sarcastically as we came up to them.

Taka stood up and began walking again. He kept his head down and didn;t notice where he was until he heard voices. He looked up so that he was behind a small group up young lions. He wondered what they were doing and decided they must all be ranaways like himself. He walked up from behind them and said, "Hey, whats going on here?"

After Casra had drank her fill, she laid down in the shade of a tree. She didn;t notice a tan lion dragging an antelope across the ground toward the small paradise until the lioness noticed Casra.

Aiyana had been walking backwards and didn't realize thar someone was in her camp unil she dropped the antelope body and the scent of another lioness hit her. She growled as she turned around to face the yellow lioness. The lioness stood up with surprise in her eyes. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" Ayiana snarled at the female.

Hayumi smiled at the males "We are starting a pride of runaways, well atleast most of us." She looked at Roran and his sister."Fine.." Roran growled as he sat up and walked next to Hayumi."My name is Hayumi, Mufasa and Sarabi's daughter.This is Roran and Sora, they are also runaways, they are brother and sister.And this is Saya and SOnya, also siblings." She looked at Koda "And you are?" SHe voice sounded like the wind, sweet and effortless.

Saya held her sister even closer now, her eyes darting around nervously "They won't hurt her Saya..atleast while I'm around." She smiled and looked back at the two new males.

"Koda," Kodi said simply, never taking his eyes off of Hayumi. How was he supposed to ask what he wanted to ask?

"Well, my names Taka," Taka said with a friendly crooked smile. "So, if this is a pride, who's the king?"

Casra stood up with surprise. She stared at the new female with shock. "M-my name's Casra," she said. "I-is this you're place? I, um, didn't know this belonged to anybody." Casra took a step back from the raging female.

Aiyana sat down, hackles still raised. "Then I suggest you get out of here as fast as your little paws can run," she said calmly, which was even more frightening that her yelling.

Tomy couldn't keep her eyes off of Koda "I feel the tension, what do you need to ask.ANd no, no king or Queen is chosen yet, but whoever claims it gets it but I would like to be Queen.' She suggested to the two.

"Well, since I was the king of my old pride," Koda lied, "I'll be the king of this one." He glanced at Hayumi to see her reaction.

"Of course," Casra said with a small bow of her head. She ran away in the opposite direction.

Aiyana sat down proudly, glaring at the little lion as she ran off.
