I like my mac better, but I have an HP running XP.
Which do you like better Windows or Mac OS X

I've been useing windows all my life, but my school uses mac. mac confuses me, so windows.

Sorry about frogetting about Linux

You know I've been using "Windows" For as long as I've ever had a computer..

I would really love to have a MAC , but at the same time Not sure if I could adapt to the "Change" very well..

The computer I have currently (bought it about 3 months ago) Is running on Windows VISTA
My old computer that crashed on me (had for about 7 years maybe, if even that long NEVER get a gateway) Ran Window XP

My opinion, I didn't Like Windows VISTA at first, BUT now I know how to use it Properly, and I tend to like it better than XP.. XP was ok , alot Easier to use, but Its some what sad to see so many people Calling Vista crap. I don't really see what is so "Horrible" About it..

I've used Windows XP for as long as I can remember. So, I'm not sure of any other operating systems. So I'd have to go with Windows XP.

Lol, I've been using Macs for as long as many of you were using PCs. I like the graphical interface and honestly, it is not a hard operating system to learn. Not to mention it's safer than Windows. Nonetheless, I have a dual-boot with Vista. I would've gone XP, if i hadn't learned they planned to discontinue development of applications for that within the next year... sucks so much butt.

Anyway, Mac for me. I was told it was the OS to use if you're a graphic-friendly person. Web design and any other graphic communications, and Mac is the way to go. For more development, I was told to go with Windows, so eh...

I choose Windows XP because, I think it's very standard for home-use computer... and I love all these years Windows XP gave the best perform with everything.

Well... about the viruses, of course Windows have a lot trouble with the viruses and Mac doesn't.
And about the spec, I heard that Windows do have a lot variation (At least that's all I know between them.)
It's pretty difficult to compare both of them... they both did great performs and speculations.

I use Linux under normal circumstances. I really wouldn't trade Linux for anything, but many of the applications I use lack a Linux equivalent, which forces me to use Windows.

When I do use Windows, I use (sucky) Vista. I have the UAC disabled and I also disabled all services which are not necessary to run the system, but it's still eating up way too much of my RAM (when I'm not doing anything and it is running only basic processes, Vista uses 500mb RAM just to IDLE! So under all circumstances, I only have 1.5k - and sometimes only 1.2k RAM available to use at any time).

Apparently, Windows has begun formatting the hard drive and setting it up in a strange manner, making it difficult for me to dual-boot Windows and Linux. I cracked the Windows source code (easiest task in the world, tbh., as Windows' own "programs can change my entire source code" programming will allow me to create a software that will give me developer access on the OS) and I found that Windows' new method of handling the hard-drive was put there intentionally, in order to make it difficult to use non-Microsoft software and systems in your computer.

Really, Microsoft is trying to milk us of all our money by making it a hassle to change OS software, thus forcing the lazy (and they are many!) to suck it up and stick to Windows.

I've been using Windows XP for a long time. For the Mac, I was a little rusty of getting used to it, but I am alright now.

Curse vista, I don't know why everyone uses vista here it crashes way to much. Watch windows crap edition on www.youtube.com after you see it you will never use windows again.
