There seems to be alot of those "Who do you like better" topics. I find these topics useless and downright annoying. I can't even count how many times I go into the balto sections and to see nothing but those topics or closely related topics. There
unoriginal and no one can really elaborate anything in these topics. Just yes and no. Not much can be said. Another thing is, they tend to be the same characters that are given these topics. Therefore, wouldn't that make these topics spam?

I know that Balto source has always had a lack of creativity and some members are yunger, but come on. Your posting things that a toddler would ask. (No offence, but seems to be that way.) Anyone can come up with a good and original topic.

EDIT: But yes, those topics are very annoying. They are a waste of bandwidth.

I used to find these intresting, but now they are PLAIN dumb. Just like "Ask Who Topics" [Which I know has already been covered but they keep popping up.]

Sadly they continue to pop up all the time, really wish there was something someone would do about it , but oh well!

They're not allowed on the site at all I know that. They really ought to not be allowed here either unless their good comparisons, not just Bolt and Balto because they're dogs that beat the odds.

Agreeing on these topics being annoying. As for the "Ask..." topics, as long as it's their original characters, it's alright. The condition is that the character must appear in a fiction written by its creator, that is hosted on this site (and it should be in the Balto universe, preferrably).
It's fanfic related, so it'd be pretty unfair to put a gag order on exactly that. The reason the "Ask [official character]" topics are gagged is that they are exactly that: official characters.

Agreeing on the "Ask [char]" topics as well, but... nothing I can do about it and as long as members participate in the topics without consequently breaking the rules, we probably won't do something that has an immediate result.
And since we don't have any specific guidelines for this particular matter (to the extent of my knowledge), I'll help incite a debate on the issue in our private forums and see if we can change our stance on this.

Yeah. But even some.of the older ones are being closed down. (Which I find rather unneeded for most of the older ones I see have been around for a while.
