aleu is more cooll!

What is it with these topics? There annoying. Kodi over Aleu.

I don't really like Kodi because he's basically a copy of his father. I mean, he is not interesting to me, his only goal in life is to become like his father and to run.
Balto was nice, tried to save children, fell in love, was excluded. He was an interesting character because of his story and his personnality.
Kodi's story is quite boring. He just runs for the sake of sled dogs, and I'm sorry but I don't really find interest in Balto 3 because of that. There's no plot in my opinion and Kodi is a flat character.

Aleu is interesting for a teenager beause she's the stereotype of the teenager who rebels against his parents and realize that they were wrong at the end. Just like Scamp who comes back home in LATT2 or Kiara who finally understands what "we are one" means and becomes even wiser than her father.
Once you're more adult, you may find her boring and irritating because she seems stupid because of her reactions. She no longer has interest (but the question "who are we" still gives interest to the movie).
She is nothing like her father, apart from being an outcast, that gives her more charms than Kodi.

So, one is a cute child who want to be "just like his father", and it's boring because it gives nothing to the story.
The other is a rebelious teenager who thinks she understands everything in life, and it's boring... because we see that stereotype everywhere.

I'm inclined to agree,they're brother,and sister for pete's sake,and besides that,there have been oodles of topics about them.

Who says that just because Kodi and Aleu are brother and sister that one of them has to be more likeable???

Personally, I prefer Aleu over Kodi . . . Kodi could have been a more interesting character if he had been more of a major character in WoC. Aleu, however, was the main character of WQ . . . and the whole story allowed viewers to learn more about her as well as watch her develop into a stronger character as she understood more and more about the wolf side of her, no matter how strange and mystical it was.

I agree that Kodi is a copy of his father, but he's had an easier life than Balto has. Kodi didn't have to deal with harassment and being made fun of because of his looks, mannerisms or heritage (for all we know). Kodi looked up to Balto only because he was the only person that never gave up on him becoming a better runner, but after that, it seemed that Kodi only managed to follow his team and what they believed in (machines are BAD, sled dogs are GOOD, etc., etc.). He was a follower for most of the film until he realized that Balto may be right . . . only then did he become a leader.

Aleu, on the other hand, was a born leader. Even as a pup, her siblings always knew they had to follow her lead . . . it was a ominous sight that you knew she was meant to be a leader, never a follower. Her strong will, her playfulness, and even her whiny attitude at times make her a far more interesting character to relate to. She's confused about how she is because she realizes how different she is compared to her siblings (why didn't she notice it before???). What adolescent isn't confused by who they are and what they are meant to become at that age?

Yes, both characters are interesting, but since Aleu is more developed as a character, she is my favorite out of the two.

hmm i like both but i think i prefer aleu...

I personally think Aleu was shallow, and a brat, spoiled, and her actions were already seen.
I like Kodi a lot, he seems like a cute character. Though I would like to see more of his personalty better.

Oh, and something else to keep in mind:

When we learn more about Aleu, she's either an eight-week-old pup or a yearling. She's supposed to be young, naive and somewhat stupid - give her a break. Aleu didn't know any better . . . and I'm still surprised she never noticed that she looked like a wolf.

However, when we learn about Kodi in WoC, he's around three years old (given that he was born around springtime/summer of 1925 and WoC is in 1928). He's already more mature, although he's not as naive as Aleu was . . . he still ends up making a stupid decision, but after realizing his mistake, he manages to fix it.

Aleu still gets my vote though, no matter how naive and stupid she was as a yearling. At least she grew to be wise beyond her years by WQ's climax.

Both Aleu,and Kodi get my vote because,Kodi is a clone of his mom,but wants to like his dad,and Aleu is a clone of her papa,that decides her own destiny by sailing away off into the sunset with all of the wolves that came when Nava appeared,and also,Nuk,Yak,and Sumak.
