I'm currently obsessed with both...sort of, and I came up with thie idea after watching Potc 2.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I bet that most of you people know everything about PotC, but what do you know about Captain Harlock?...

Here's the basic knowledge:

Captain Harlock is a space pirate created by manga artist Leiji Matsumoto and quickly became popular in the late 1970's. He made his debut 1953 in the movie Adventures of a Honeybee, but he didn't take the spotlight until his 1978 series Space Pirate Captain Harlock. Since then, there's been new variations of his story, like My Youth In Arcadia (Arcadia being the name of his ship), Galaxy Express 999, Space Pirate Captain Harlock: The Endless Odyssey, and so forth. Recently, Harlock has been re-created to show the younger side of himself, like in Cosmo Warrior Zero where he was the captain of the Deathshadow, and in Gun Frontier, where he and his buddy Tochiro fight trouble in the old west.

He's always seen with his comrades Tochiro, a samurai skilled in the arts of the sword dispite his size, and Emeraldas, captain of her own ship, the Queen Emeraldas.

But in this case, he's a sea pirate! ^_^

Now onto the plot!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been months since the events of At World's End. Everything seems to be peaceful, and Jack is back to his orginal self...mooching off of people while going after the Fountain of Youth of course. (^^) Will Turner has been reunited with his father and is going strong as the new captain of the Flying Dutchmen. Captain Barbossa resumes as the captain of the Black Pearl, and Elizabeth, who is pregnant...well, you get the idea.

And now, once again, everyone is reunited in Tortuga...where an unexpected visitor shows up. Kid legend and girl pirate Kira Kat steps onto the scene...with a new goal to achieve.

Kira Kat has been a pirate for as long as she could remember, and she actually knew Jack since she did sail with him on the Black Pearl when she was twelve...after the events of The Curse of the Black Pearl. Now at fourteen, and a huge grudge against Jack, she has become the first mate of a soon-to-be infamous ship called the Arcadia...and the captain being the infamous Phantom F. Harlock II, son of the Conqueror of the Seas Captain Harlock I. Their mission was to create the strongest fleet in the entire world, but no one was aware of that...and besides, the only other ship they have was the Queen Emeraldas, along with its captain Emeraldas and her first mate and lover, Tochiro.

At that moment, everything gets turned upside down. Loyalties will be tested, and with Kira Kat thinking that Will Turner, the new Davy Jones, is the enemy, secrets will be revealed, and it's going to become harder the figure out who to trust and who to send to their deaths.
