I just think they aren't related. Wolves can look alike. Balto in the movie was Halfwolf. And I don't think they look alike.

I think they made Nava look like Balto so people would see / think that Balto was the one who would become the leader of the pack instead of Aleu.

Yeah, I always noticed that too. In one scene, Balto looks like Nava.
Though I believe they look alike (all of the wolves.) cause it was a low budget movie, and that would take alot of time make complex designs for each wolf.
