I wanted to know if anyone else hates the new name for the Sears Building. It's one of the most famous buildings in America. I don't like it that they changed the name. It doesn't have the same ring to it. =/

Seriously, the Willis Tower? That name sucks! I come from Chicago, and this is a complete disrespect to the city and it's history. The Sears tower sounds much better. You wouldn't change the name of the Empire state building or Big Ben, or any other famous building. Why change this one?

They changed it? Why? The Willis Tower? What the heck is that? You don't change the name of a famous building or momnument. That's just wrong.

They changed it bacause a new company bought the rights to it or something. It's very stupid.

I heard they were doing this a few months ago. "Willis Tower'? What the heck?! Can't they just keep the name and respect it's status as a landmark? I come from Chicago, and frankly I think the Sears Tower will still hold its origional name in the hearts of Americans...
