Does Andersonville, GA count, even though it's a prisoner of war place?

Truthfully, I've never actually been to any memorial places for quite a while, I'd love to visit them actually, if time allows me.
On the side note, isn't "Indian" a rather archaic and offensive word to refer to the "Native American"?

I can't say I have been to any battlefield/ memorial. Haven't been on a family vacation in quite awhile...stupid economy. Sorry, back to subject XD. However I would love to visit a Civil War, Vietnam, World War I or World War II type memorial or battlefeild. I would probably want to see something WWII related, just cause I had family who fought in the war. (Sorry if this was suppost to be more about Civil/Revoulutionary War battlefields, since the majority of posters have talked about them XD)
