This is an RP between me and Dustpaw, about our two charries Aika and Taariq. Aika is a young Akita/Siberian husky mix, who has waited all her life to meet that special someone, who she'd like to spend the rest of her life with. And one day she finally meets him! But there's a problem...Aika's father is very strict of whi his daughter should go out with, and doesn't think Taariq is the right company for her. So, he tells her not to see him. What will they do? Will they ever get to be together? We'll see...

A brown female dog , named Aika slept peacefully on a house's porch, when suddenly a small pile of snow fell from the roof, and hit right on her head. Aika quickly opened her eyes, raised her head and shoock the snow off.
"Phew, what a wake up" she thought to herself, then streched her legs and got up. She looked at the sky, where the beautiful northern lights were dancing, then she sat down on the porch and sighed quietly. Then, her father came to the porch beside her.
"Sweet heart, it's late. Wouldn't you come in already?" he asked her gently, sitting down beside his daughter.
"Yes, father, in a minute" Aika said with a dreamy voice, still looking at the sky.
"All right then" her father smiled, then rose up to his feet and went inside.

Aika was still staring at the northern lights with a dreamy smile on her face, and then the cold winter blurred into her fur. She shook her fur a few times, but then, when she lowered her head, she couldn't help noticing the strange male, walking not too far from her house. Aika looked pretty confused, and the fact that she couldn't recognize him, made her even more confused.
"Who's that? I don't remember seeing him before..." she quietly said to herself, and stood up on her feet. All tough Aika had lived in Nome for pretty much all her life, she didn't seem to know this male, who on the other hand looked quite interesting...

Aika seemed pretty confused when Taariq approached her, and stood up to her feet, walking away from the porch.
"Hello.." she greeted shyly, and walked a little closer to Taariq.
"No, actually I've here for quite long time, but I was born in Japan" she said, blushing slightly and sat on the ground. She observed Taariq for a while, and was still trying to figure if she knew him, or not.
"But that's quite strange, I have never seen you here eather" she then said, with a small but gentle smile on her face, and leaned her head on the side a little.

"Oh, you do? That really is strange" Aika said, also tilting her head, but then started smiling.
"All tough, it is possible that I've seen you sometimes...this is not that big place" she said, smiling at him friendly.

Aika smiled gently at Taariq, as he stopped and looked back at her. She looked at him, bending her head a little bit, and felt something strange in her heart.
"It's Aika" she then replied, with a gentle voice, and looked him deep in the eyes, still smiling. She felt blushing slightly in her cheeks, but lucky for her it was oo dark for Taariq to see that.

Aika smiled after him, feeling her heart taking a small yet warm leap.
"..Thank you" she whispered, almost silently, and sighed quietly. Aika looked after Taariq for a moment, then turned around and walked inside their house. But when she got inside, her father was sitting on the floor, with a serious look on his face.
"Who were you talking to, Aika?" he asked quietly, as Aika came up to him.
"Uhmm...that was just a dog next door" Aika replied, and walked pass her father. He rose up to his feet, and looked at his daugther.
"Aika, you know you're allowed to talk to strangers" he then said, and Aika turned to him.
"He wasn't a stranger, father. He's a nice guy. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep" she replied, then walked upstairs and went to her dog bed, laying herself down and closing her eyes, and quickly fell asleep. However she couldn't stop thinking about Taariq...
