http://baltosource.timduru.org/en/chars/Lucan/267.htmlAbout: I have always wanted to finish off Lucan’s story we see in the Balto movie what happened to Balto and we also get to see in Balto 2 Aniu and I wanted to bring my character Lucan (The adopted son for Aniu and stepbrother for Balto) a similar ending as in we know what happens to him and his life. I thought Lucan deserved a story of his own before he’s a character that is full for confusion and doesn’t know what to make of his life, who he is, where he’s going and what his destiny is in life. His early life in the wild with Aniu and Balto shaped his life as you will read in this story, it had left an imprint on his life one that he must discover himself if he wants to find who he is and discover the brave and strong husky he is and ultimately what family means, what being a brother means.

2. Why did you kill Lucan?
I had always planned on Lucan to die for his brother but why I did it is because I believe that if Lucan heard about Balto and how he saved Nome years later than he would had looked for Balto and we don't see hear anything about him in Balto 2 and 3 which means he didn't seek Balto out. If Lucan decided to go back to the wild he would have most likely sought out Aniu's old pack where in my universe that is Nava's pack and in Balto 2 he's not there. I wanted Lucan to find happiness and the only time he was happy was with Aniu and Balto and thus he gave his life to save his brother finally understanding what it meant to be family, to be a brother.
At this time Lucan's owner was basically giving him up and Lucan thought if he couldn't even be a good companion to his master than how could he be one to any other family?
4. Why wasn't Lucan a good sled dog if he's a full blood Husky?It wasn't in his heart to want to race if you don't like doing something than you're usually not good at it and he wanted more, his time with Aniu and Balto changed who he was and what he wanted in life.
5. Why is this fan-fic shorter than your others?To be honest I don't have very much time anymore and I wanted to finish this whilst I still had the idea in my head and why I still wanted to write it.
