Yeah folks, Daughtry's new disk dropped this past week, I have the disk and can tell you that it is waaaaaaaaaaay better than the first one which I thought was an amazing record. Chris has never sounded better vocally and his clever and emotional songwriting really shines on this record and the whole bandf overall sounds amazing once again as a whole. my rating - 10/10

Alright so lets see some of your comments on this highly anticipated disk...

I've been wondering when he'd come out with a second album...

So far, after listening to the sample tracks on iTunes, it sounds mostly good! Heavier sound than before, but still retains his emotional personality while singing. Reminiscent of the previous album, yet it still stands out. Some of it sounds a little too heavy for my tastes, but it's definitely worth one's consideration at the very least.

My sample review: 7/10 (mind you, based solely on the sample tracks. Haven't listened to the whole tracks, yet.)

I'll write another review once I've listened to it in full.

The day that I have waited for a while ever since that incredible first album came today!

All that I can say is this truly was worth the money and then some. I know some people are going to say that this is the usual Daughtry, but hey, we like the normal kind of Daughtry darn it!

As far as the songs, for the most part, it will be awesome to you the first time you listen to it. There are a couple of songs on there that will require warming up to, but just like a couple from the first album, you will eventually like those. The claim that this is more of a hard rock album is definitely correct. This album has more of the loud and excitement songs than what the first album had. A person can easily point out the purpose of the songs listening to it, and that is a big thing that a band has to do if you ask me.

If you want to know my favorites off the album are, "You Don't Belong (which is a song that was played at concerts)," "Every Time I Look Around," "Life After You (beautiful love song)," and "Tennessee Line" are great songs, but the best one has to be "September." I was amazed by the song, and it does contain the lyric that makes up the name of the album. "No Surprise" sounds just as well on album as it does on the radio, and it even has a extra lyric in the song that is different from the radio version.

There is a couple songs available to buy in Itunes, so I have yet to listen to "What We Have Become" and "On The Inside."

As far as a score, 4.5/5 when it comes to stars and 8.9/10 (rounding off to 9/10) rating, great album and worth the wait. I hope to see my favorite band in concert whenever they come to the D.C./Baltimore region again.
