Well, I've started making wallpapers and I'd like some critique and some tips on how to make them better.
I've only just started making these properly so please don't be too harsh but constructive critisicm (sp?) would be greatly appreciated.

There good, but text seems a bit to bold. try fadeing the text and maby add effects to it.

Thanks. I'm still working out some of the features on the program I'm using so yeah.

Not bad. Textures often make wallpapers look good and using the dodge/burn tools, sparingly mind, used too much and they look bad.
Also, try messing with some text effects. Even something as simple as a shadow can make them look better.
Messing about with settings, filters and effects also gets some interesting results on it's own.
