what if the world ended?;
what if you were the only one left?;
What if you then realized, you were not alone,
but your company is not human;
it is not supernatural vampire, zombie or werewolf;
it is not a dragon or pegasus;
These creatures were never in fairy tales or movies.


These creatures are the real monsters.
And there, within, lays the question;
of what they really are.





Something short to get you interested, now for the plot.




Opal is just another normal girl, in just another normal house, in just another normal neighbourhood.
But normal is a word no longer required or used when she wakes up one day to find the world twisted and confusing.
Alone, she attempts to find out if anybody is around. Alone, she ventures over to her house, still her house, it may have been, but it had not been inhabited for many years.
Alone, she discovers the monsters that live in this world.
What has become of everyone? She can only guess, as the horrible creatures try to kill, and presumably eat her.
They track her down, day and night, never resting.

But, maybe, just maybe,she is not alone.
She eventually stumles upon another like herself, a boy, Around her own age.
As they fight to survive, they meet up with some more like themslves, confused, scared, and alone.
They become a group, and when they figure out that nothing is going to get better, they are determind to get to the bottom of this mystery, and find some way to either exterminate the monsters that watch them, waiting, at every moment, or find somewhere without the monsters to live.





basic Balto Source Rules - No god-modding, no posts less than four sentences long (preferably post should have 6 sentences, but four will be O.k), with the exception of the occasional writers block.

Appearance: Opal has Green eyes,Amber colour the reason for her name being those. She has tanned skin, most likely from being out in the sun so much before the world 'ended'. She has medium brown hair,she is slim and daintly, and not very strong, altought she is quite fast.
Personality: Opal is stubborn at times, but usally she tends not to be too stubborn. She has a tendancy to want to be around others when she is in a bad situation, and, of all things, is not a leader. It is not that she would make a bad leader, it is just she does not want to beone, and will happily let anyone else take over the part of leader.
HistoryShe lived with her parents until the 'end' of the world, leading a normal life. She was never into things like make-up, and only had a few close friends. She always owned a few pets of one kind or another, being an animals lover.
