Hey all, I know this is late, but my time has been very limited as of late...

This topic is dedicated to the King of Pop Mr. Michael Jackson who died June 25th 2009.

Just a place for fans to express their feelings, please keep it civil. Mr Jackson believed in a world of peace love and hope, let's try to preserve that here.

For me personally Michael was an inspiration. I listened to many of his songs while writing my stories. He was dedicated to doing everything he could for any under privileged child he could, giving untold millions of dollars to charities all across the globe in this effort. When he was awarded a civil suit after his hair was caught on fire by a faulty piece of pyrotechnics while filming a Pepsi commercial he took the money and opened a children's burn center. He routinely paid for the surgeries and transplants of children who's parents could not afford them. I was excited at the prospect of him coming back with his new tour, but sadly that is not what God had in mind. ...but all things happen for a reason, perhaps Quincy Jones said it best "...there's a new moonwalker in heaven today."

The allegations made against him in the last decade were truly unfortunate. I charge anyone who uses this as ammunition against him to read the court case. It was full of holes. Had they taken it to court he would have been acquitted the first time as he was the second. The insurance company representing him was the one that forced the settlement on both Jackson and his legal council. In no way was this an admission of guilt from Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Chandler took Jackson for all he had, first as a friend and then in court. Shame on them for hurting such a gentle and caring individual. I don't think Michael was capable of hurting a fly, much less the children he gave so much to over the years.

Michael was the greatest artist of our time His record sales went un-eclipsed for nearly twenty years and grief of fans across the world is simply astounding. He made an impression, and it stuck. Rest in Peace Michael and thank you for the music.

- Tony

P.S. If you have a favorite song of his, list it as well ^.^

1. You Are Not Alone
2. Thriller
3 Will You Be There

hey all me again... at least with this time of sadness there is some happiness.

Jordan Chandler, the child who collaborated with his father in the first trial against Michael Jackson has recanted and said that it was all a lie and a plot by his father to extort Mr. Jackson.

I knew you weren't capable of such attrocities Michael. R.I.P.

I used to listen to Michael Jackson's songs all the time, dance with my friends and cringe at the ending expression of Thriller, along with my friends and sister.

It's hard to accept that he's gone, especially when there's endless marathons on MTV and other music channels.

Favorite songs:

- Smooth Criminal
- Thriller
- Billy Jean
- Earth Song
- They Don't Care About Us
- Will You Be There
- Dirty Diana
- Beat It

Yes indeed a true Idol has left this world, but how much he gave will still remain forever in my heart. It is sad to know that Michael Jackson's time on Earth had ended so quickly. I truly am grateful for what the king of pop contributed to music and I know he will not be forgotten. I guess you never know what you'll truly miss, until it's taken away from you forever.

-top songs-
