Okay, so this is getting anoying, I'll be on a topic, and I see that somebody has asked a question or somthing that the topic creator needs to answer, But instead of typing out the answere to thier question, They Quote it, then answer it! That takes up space. Now I can understand it someone else has posted after that person, but if it's only them, all they have to do it answer. Now the other thing it you'll say "Well How do They Know Their Talking To You?" Easy, is it so teribley hard to type in that person's username? Examples:

Wolfiebobdue: Can you send me a reff pic of that char so I can draw it?

Personthatownstopic: QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUTTTTTEEEEEEEE
Yes-here

So can you not just do this???

Wolfiebobdue: Can you send me a reff pic of that char so I can draw it?

Personthatownstopic: Wolfie- Yes...here

The example you provided is one of the few instances in which quoting can be problematic. Otherwise its helpful to readers. If it's not an issue in the immediate discussion, like if it's clear to the posters who's talking to who, quoting for clarification is a respectful move for viewers.

I have to agree with the last two posts.
Though in some cases (I won't say who.) sometimes quotes the first post in every reply and claims that it saves space. Now that's just takeing up space.

Uh no, sometimes posts get deleated, and quotes help keep it "contained" as in everyone can read it still.
Useful, but I don't like it when people quote big quotes, that's just too much. LOL.
