Another parry, followed by a counter. His blades drawn, clenched in his fists, Sabo drew back from the captain. Irritated that he couldn't get past the captain's massive defense. It was rare that a knight battled an assassin, but very necessary for the mission at hand. Sabo was being trained for war.
Captain Kovasch pulled back and assumed his defensive stance. Sword pulled in close across his chest. Feet shoulder length apart, completely relaxed. The large white wolf was like an impenetrable wall. He eyed the small fox before him. Sabo was tense and frustrated, usual.
Sabo tried to relax, but the large wolf smirked at him with intimidation. His plan was working, the captain knew Sabo all too well. Taking a deep breath, letting all of his muscles relax, he drew back into a more comfortable stance. Attacking head on was not the way to go up against the captain. He knew that the only way to defeat one with great endurance and outstanding defense was to bring their guard down little by little.
Zylo smirked as he watched the fox let go of his tension. He was finally loosening up during battle, a great improvement. Now the Captain felt uneasy, something was being formulated in the mind of the small assassin. Although he kept his smile, the captain was fearful. For he knew that when an assassin carries out a maneuver, it rarely fails.
