Yea I used to watch this show all the time on Nickelodeon. It seemed to be pretty successful so I always wondered why it got canceled.

I used to be a fan of Invader Zim, until it fell short. Even though, it was a good cartoon.

From what I've read online the creator didn't get tired of Invader Zim. He quit working on it because Nickelodeon wasn't giving him enough creative freedom and kept forcing him to change things that he wanted to stay the same. Anyone remember the first episode? Yeah, that was SUPPOSED to start with a scene of New York burning after an alien invasion. Nick cut it out because they thought that the Statue of Liberty on fire might get them in trouble. It wouldn't have bugged me, they're aliens, they don't care about our landmarks. Yeah, for that Nick ticks me off (but I still watch it for some reason) They'd actually planned a few more episodes and then a movie to end the series.
Imma fan, that's why I had to find out why it ended ^^

That's some interesting piece of research there,Pikayu! Good job! *gives you a cookie* But anyways, I think it's pointless that Nick cut out that scene. You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kWGQL4pFagI think it was from "Door to Door" though.

This was a great show with a twisted sense of humor and a very mature edge. I really don't think they should have put it on Nickelodeon, as even the stuff they didn't cut was pretty dark. Comedy Central maybe.
