The newest version of a Ghostbusters video game came out recently!

I'm going to focus more on the version for current consoles (meaning Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3) since the one for the PS2 doesn't appear to be as good.

So, here's the setup for the game: It's 1991, in New York City, not too long after the events of Ghostbusters 2 (which, just so you know, is not anywhere near as good as the original). After a few state sanctions on their proton reactor packs, a new recruit comes in (you, the player). There, you learn the ropes of how to work the reactor pack, how to ensnare ghosts in your Proton beam, and how to use a trap. A huge blue, psyonic pulse recently emanated from the history museum, and has caused a great many disturbances around town, including Slimer escaping and the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man returning!

Really artfully done! Details abound, and just an all-out nice way to have fun. It's done in a third-person/over-the-shoulder shooter setting, but it's a lot more fun and requires the player to be a lot more inventive than other shooters.

Anyone else played it?

Correct.

And this topic happens to be in a the More Section of the forums; a place where we can talk about topics outside of Balto.
