Every TV series need this topic Apart from Plunder & Lightning (the pilot) which is a bit special, can you list your favorite episodes from the series?I haven't watched all of them yet, I'm still missing a few. But it's already VERY hard to choose, and I wouldn't be able to choose ONE favorite episode anyway, so I will list the 5...10...errr, let's just make a list of ALL the episodes I love (in no particular order - I just can't rank them...) * Best ones - Save the Tiger - My Fair Baloo - The Old Man and the Sea Duck - A Bad Reflection on You - Flight of the Snow Duck - Bygones - Last Horizons - A Star Is Torn - Time Waits for No Bear - I Only Have Ice for You - Vowel Play - Stormy Weather - A Spy in the Ointment - Her Chance to Dream - Bearly Alive - The Bigger They Are the Louder They Oink - A Touch of Glass - For a Fuel Dollars More - On a Wing and a Bear - The Balooest of the Blue Bloods - From Here to Machinery - A Baloo Switcheroo - Double or Nothing - War of the Weirds - Feminine Air - Stuck on You - Your Baloo's in the Mail Ok...Let's analyse this: - I have almost added all of the episodes I have watched, actually...Sorry, but I REALLY do love all of these episodes. - I Guess I can't fool myself : the vast majority of my favorite episodes are the ones where there's a strong relationship between Baloo & Becky. Which doesn't mean I don't like the others (Baloo & Kit, Kit & Don Karnage, Molly & Wildcat), I really like all of the main characters... Now to the ones I like, but not as much : * Good ones :- It Came from Beneath the Sea Duck - Mommy for a Day - Molly Coddled - The Golden Sprocket of Friendship - Whistlestop Jackson, Legend - Mach One for the Gipper - The Ransom of Red Chimp - The Road to Macadamia (err, that one deserved to be in Aladdin, right?) - The Incredible Shrinking Molly Then, here's the list of my least favorites episodes : * "Worse" ones :- Polly Wants a Treasure (not THAT bad though...) - The Idol Rich - All's Whale That Ends Whale - Destiny Rides Again - The Sound and the Furry (WORSE one BY FAR, I just can't STAND that one! I watched it once and don't ever want to watch it again...Those cutty little animals...I think they mistakely came to the wrong TV series. Yuck) - Paradise Lost (Note to myself : I definitely need a review system on the site, because I would very much like to make independant reviews for each of them...) So, what are your favorites?

Quote: Her Chance to Dream and the Old man and the Sea Duck ( I cry like crazy at the last two).. Yes, these two are definitely episodes that I would have never expected in a TV series cartoon...

It'll take some time to come up with a list of favorites aside from Plunder & Lightning, but there's one thing I can say: I like every episode! Some were better than others, but I found myself going through my whole collection every time I do my annual talespin viewing (Currently, I'm on my 4th trip through the series. Today's ep will be the Golden Sprocket of Friendship.). Each episode has at least a couple things special about it. Boy steet, we don't seem to have similiar tastes. On a Wing & Bear was good, but Throgmorton is my least favorite character in the series. And your least favorite episodes. Aside from Alls Whale That Ends Whale (which was good) they were all great, especially Polly Wants a Treasure (Had some of my favorite Don Karnage/Air Pirate moments. Dumptruck: "I love de little wormies. Especially with french fries." Don Karnage: When I get my hands on that pilot I will tear him into itsy-bitsy pieces of ugly bear! Then sow him back together with blunt needles! ), Idol Rich (anything with the main villains in it is automatically a favorite, aside from On a Wing & a Bear), The Sound & the Furry (Worst episode ever!? I have to say it was one of the best, especially since I'm a Wildcat fan), and Paradise Lost (Do you not like Wildcat? I'm not gonna insult you if you do, but this was one of the too few excellent episodes that focused on him, & it did make me tear up a little).

Well I have to admit that I'm not very fond of the episodes that don't include both Kit and Becky. The "adventure" episodes like "The idol rich" or "Polly Wants a Treasure" did not have anything special to them either, that would make me want to watch them again and again, unlike all the others I have listed in my top list. But yes, there are good parts in them too. Even though I like Wildcat, I felt the episodes where he had an important role were just too..."cute" and not that original. (Paradise Lost looked almost like a Land Before Time episode with these dinosaurs...) But when he's around the other characters, that's where it works the best (the best Wildcat episode to me would be Time waits for no bear, which is probably the most funniest episode) I still like Flight of the snow duck pretty much, but it might have something to do with it being in Thembria (I love them Maybe even better than the air pirates. They're an awesome parody of the URSS - bureaucracy, freedomless, ... they even put children in jail Yes, using your imagination is a federal offense ) I also like it because it was very touching too. Quote: Throgmorton is my least favorite character in the series I thought that's a character that was necessary to make that episode work. And even though it's not my favorite either, there ARE actually people like that (Baloo's car driving looked somewhat...familar to me, especially since I had a lot of trouble getting my licence too ) And don't forget that he finally does the right thing at the end of the episode. But maybe that's a good part about the series : everyone finds different interests into it.

My most favourite are I Only Have Ice for You - it was extremely funny to see Becky learning to fly. Especially when she took off with that buoy Time Waits for No Bear - probably the most hillarious episode: dumb goons of Trader Moe and the legendary Land you idiot so I can strangle u! Paradise Lost - a very touching episode, showing that Wildcat is not stupid - he has a heart of pure gold! Double or Nothing - I realy like that episode, but in the end I expected a bigger hug from Baloo Her Chance to Dream - cute and romantic, also some time ago I was interested in ghosts ---- And my least favourite ones: On a Wing and a Bear - I felt so sorry for Baloo - that nerd Ralph Throgmorton har ruined his life in that episode Feminine Air - in that episode Baloo's crossdressing has gone too far . . . Jumping the Guns - . . . As far as I can remember myself from my earliest years I loved wolves (also dogs, cats. tigers etc) and I've hated pigs. That's the reason why I dislike that episode.

Quote: On a Wing and a Bear - I felt so sorry for Baloo - that nerd Ralph Throgmorton har ruined his life in that episode Well, isn't that the role of "foes" to make life difficult for the heroes? There are different ways to do this, I think that's a very clever one Even if Throgmorton can't really be considered as a foe... Personally that's one of my favorites episodes, especially for the "young Baloo" scene

I still need to come up with a Top 10, but I can't believe I forgot the obvious choice for my favorite episode: In Search of Ancient Blunders! It features my favorite Talespin hero, my favorite villain (Don Karnage, in case you couldn't guess)), my favorite one-shoe character (Myra Foxworthy), and lots and lots of comedy and adventure. I will come up with a Top 10 soon, though.

A Bad Reflection on You: Part 2 is probably my favorite. I have a vivid memory of watching that one when I was a kid.
I'm actually surprised that you didn't include that one in your "Best" list, steet. It had just about all the elements that made P&L so great.

Well, having watched that 2-part episode again, I have to agree with you. If it wasn't for the lower animation quality, it would be almost to the level of Plunder & Lightning. But yes, I'll rank it in the "best" part, I think it deserves it.
