Yeah I found a kitten on Tuesday (didn't find her really. She followed my mother and I home). She has to be about 6 weeks old. But here are some pictures of her. We call her Tuesday (Tuey for short)

She's a very cute kitten. Though did you think she may have wondered away from whom she belonged to? Someone might be looking for her.

Mhm,I agree with Mightybalto, you might remind the kitten of who she really belongs to.

No it came out of the woods. And if its a stray it is very brave to be coming too close. But my mom held it and set it down but it followed us home.

Well if that Kitten followed you and allowed your mother to touch it with out flintching then it's obviouse she had an owner before. Usually Cats and kitten stray away or shy away from Humans. Remember, Cats arin't like Dogs that would suddenly come up to you and beg...Unless that cat is a Fat Kitty I know of >.>

I would let the local animal shelter know that you have a stray/lost cat to see if anyone has filed for a lost cat. I would also ask around to see if anyone is missing a kitten. I'm not trying to disappoint you, but that would be the right thing to do. Then if no one claims her, then she is yours.

We did go from house to house asking. But when we got to the house near the woods the lady said she already has kittens shes trying to give away (she had four before). I don't know if it was hers or not but it usually came out of the woods (probaly straying from her mother).

It may be stray, but you did a good job of taking care of your kitty. That's why I gave you a 10 for it's cuteness. Lovely. :)

6 weeks old is a month and half. She's too young and should be with her mother. Perhaps she's been abandonned by the family who had kittens as it often happens, or the mother is dead.
Then she's lucky that you're here to help her. But she might be more agressive than some cats when she'll grow up because her mother didn't have the time to teach her everything.

Still, since you don't know where she's from, you should ask people if they have lost a kitten (perhaps write this in a local newspaper).
