Another rant.

I'd like to know your opinions of the Official Lineart Topic and if you think we really need it?

I understand it helps keep the boards clean, however the topic itself has lots of old and dead links. And it's because of it that we have a lot of locked topics in the fan art sections where people have posted their line art, and normally within the day it is locked before we can provide the artist with any feedback. Also in the OLT it appears to be in order of oldest > newest. I don't think this is a fair way to advertise line art as obviously the alive links at the top will be the first viewed and used. Finally I don't think we "need" it because I don't think people making topics giving others art to colour really counts as spam.

What do you think?

I kinda like it, but I also don't (mainly because of the dead links, like you mentioned & th newest being at the bottom) maybe Draco could reorganize it if she has time. She's probably too busy though.
I think it would be better to have a suboard in general fan art for lines. Then people could just post up thier own and it wouldn't get int people's way unless they wanted to see linearts.

That's actually a REALLY good idea if you ask me!

I -very- much like the topic.
I got SO sick to death of seeing nothing but "Wolf lineart1!!1!" topics all over the art sections, if you want critique on it then it is allowed to be put in your art gallery.
Just put the link to the lineart on photobucket/whatever you use in your art desciption and send the link to your pic in you gallery to Draco.

Also, I doubt Draco goes through the topic regularly to check which links are broken. If you find that some links are broken them PM them to Draco so she knows and can remove them.

& Kazz: It does. You wrote "Compliment or insult", which is second? xD

You know sorry... I just posted my lineart to the art section. I totally forgot draco had a topic on it already, it was completely my fault. So I'm guessing thats why this rant is here? hahah

Well my whole idea on this subject is maybe if people dont like to post there links to draco, but instead want feedback, ect. For the LineArts they do, they should maybe be allowed to make just one topic on it like dracos. So they can post all of their LineArts on that same post each and every time.

That's a good idea and could work. Though personally I prefer Pikayu's. Speaking of which, Pikayu - Mind if I put that in the suggestions section? (Unless of course you want to do it yourself. xD)
