Entries are in! I've completed judging, scroll to the bottom of this post.

I made a whole bunch of characters for a comic and a story about three years ago, but ended up not using them. I found some sketches of them a while ago and felt bad that I wasn't gonna use them, so I decided to put some of them up for adoption (the ones I'm sure I'll never use).

Rules
1. No fighting
2. The lineart I'm using is mine (nobody else has permission to use it)
3. You must fill out as much as you can of the form, I will decide from that who gets the character.
4. More than one person may try for the same character
5. Each person may try for up to two characters
6. You must draw a pic of the one you want to try out for, NO Linearts or Renders

I think that should cover it for rules. Let me know if you have any questions.

Nova
Female
Wolf (since she doesn't look wolf, you can change her breed as long as it fits how she looks)
She's actually not from my comic. She was a design I was working with when I wanted to make a new character. I ended up doing something completely different and not using her even though I gave her a name. Personality wise she was supposed to be somewhat shy but loves the sound of gunfire which was a trait that got her in trouble a lot. (She's a wolf that loves gunfire XD)


Note: When drawing her, you can simplify the spots around her legs and tail to make less of them (its tough to make so many)

Loki was made to be the antagonist in my comic. He is viscous, but becomes cowardly very quickly. This is why he was known to befriend assassin dogs and use them to crush his enemies while he watched from the shadows.

Kiva was made to be my character Kiba's mate in an old story I wrote (not anymore). She's a beautiful and kind wolf. She will stand up for what she believes in unless she's around those of higher rank; she will do everything she can to get on an alpha's good side.

Central Asian Sheepdog
Tiger was made to be the best friend of the main character in my comic. He's extremely loyal and, quite possibly, the best friend a dog could have. He has a constant air of relaxation about him which easily makes him a lot of friends. He's very laid back and calm under pressure, basically the opposite of Inferno.


Note: When drawing him, tiny ears are a characteristic of the breed and are required. As is the short tail.

German Shepherd / Husky
I don't know why I made him for a realistic dog comic. Anyway, Inferno was made to be the older brother of the main character. As such he is full of (useless) brotherly advice and a hot temper. He's the one who lunged at the assassin pack and got his tail whipped. He is a strong fighter but always manages to bite off more than he can chew.

These are pretty high-quality adoptables, by the way. Not like all the spam I find myself wallowing in when I pay the adoption board an occasional visit XD I would try for him but I don't have time right now.

Loki is very beautifully designed...I will find a spot for him, probably an involvee with my character Buck.

New Name: I might change it to Jasper, Otto, Paxton, or Owen.
Breed: Istrian Shepherd / German Shepherd
Gender: male
Age: 5
Personality: Sinister towards his underlings and curt. It's not like he's quiet, but most of what he says is short and simple, and usually a command of some type. He is a strict, by-the-book type of guy, but he can have his 'moments'. He appreciates self-made dogs, those who have worked hard to get where they are, but he doesn't exactly put them on a pedestal. He just isn't as crule to them as he is to everyone else.
History: (Loki) was born in Iowa, as a stray. He was supposed to be euthinized(not kindy) at a clinic where he was taken after he was found, but a man cheaply bought him off and roughed him up to be a guard dog, along with several shepherds and pit bulls. (Loki) was rescued from the man by his neighbors while he was away, and secretly relocated to Alaska.
By then he was about 3, past his prime stud age, and was bought to be a guard dog for a junk yard outside the small town of Nome. He developed a strangly close relationship wih his partner John, but constantly repremands him for being 'too soft'. He finds that he likes John much more than his big-headed brother, the champ dog-fighter Buck, though.
(Loki) runs with the stray crowd, as that is where he is most comfortable. He met a maned wolf mix named Shila, who was a member of a well-known street band. He respected her emensly for her hardships, and grew to like her much more. When the two do meet, they bicker quite a lot. It is unknown wether Shila returns his somewhat affectionate feelings, but she does find him a valuable companion. (Loki) just scoffs whenever his feelings about her are brought into question; he doesn't want anyone to know, as he is unsure about them himself.
What will you use him/her for?: Admirer/frenemie of Shila, boss of John

Thanks (my lineart is ancient though) and I know what you mean. I've seen so many with the same design, but different colors (in the same adoption topic), it's so repedative and boring. I'm especially annoyed by the ones that people make up on the spot.


Anyway, I don't know when this adoption will end. I'm hoping to get at least two people (or more) trying for each character. However if it drags out too long and nobody else is entering, I'll just end it.

Siblings: If I get her, my charrie Cowgirl.

Personality: Nova is shy, but nice and calm. She wont 'chase
you out of house and home' with her eneergy. In fact, I dont
even know if she has much energy at all. She loves the sound
of gunfire, which got her in trouble alot. This may be very bad
for a fanfic i'm planning to put her in.... Though very rarly, she
will let out her inner wolf, running around like crazy. Now when
that happens, watch out! She may just run over you without
even noticing it.

History: Nova doesnt know where she was born.... which is
very strange.... hmm.... but as far as she remembers she has
lived in the woods her whole life, without any protection or
guidence. She hopes to stay that way, not wanting anyone
to sheltar and protect her. But little does she know, her sister
is living out in the coutry, as a pet...

What will you use her for? Well, fanarts and fanimages. And if
allowed, will make my charractar, Cowgirl, Nova's sister. Nova
will be featured in drawings (just to tell you, someone will go on
the site, someone will stay down) and lots of fanimages, seeming
as I love to render. And maybe a RP or to.

Breed: Wolf (Grey Wolf to be exact)

Gender: Female

Age: 4

Personality: Kind and will stand up for what she believes in, except around higher ranked wolves. She's smart and cunning, and very witty and daring. She loves to have fun with other wolves. Her favorite thing to do is run around and play. She doesn't feel like she needs a male to complete her.

History: Kiva was a pup born from a litter of three. She was the only one to survive out of her litter. When she grew up, she was abused by her parents, and she ran away out to save her life. What she doesn't know is that this litter of three was actually born from different parents, but they were sold into salvery because their parents didn't want pups and didn't know what to do with them. They met the two other "parents" and let them have the pups. Her real parents were actually part of the royal blood and were a special part of the Grey Wolf sepcies. She and her parents had the power to control ice and wind. This special ability happened when a recent discovery of wolves having different powers. Like some Tibetan Wolves started to get the powers of earth and fire, some Red Wolves started to get the powers of Water and Metal, and some Mexican Wolves started to get the powers of light and darkness. She later starts to form a pack with other elemental wolves.

What will you use him/her for? Probably for a comic when I make the contest and get enough entries. Fan art and images and probably fanfics.

Gender: Male
Age: (optional)
Personality: Rather cunning and evil, but keeps that to himself. Charming, but stays that way. He takes no part in street dogs, except when he busts them out of the pound. He's a scandal, stealing meat from the butcher, robbing from other dogs. But that all changed....(history)
History: Dawnson hates pratically everyone and the same with everyone to him. He hates them for their lack of quick pace...in mind and body alike. He'd rather stay home an watch cartoons with his boy, Jared. But Jared moved.... and left him, all alone... So from that day Dawnson became a street dog, teaching others his knowledge. But they laughed at him and continued their lives out on the streets. DAwnson set out to show them and ended becoming like them as well. He stole, sneaked dogs out of the pound, terrorized neighbors.....but then he found.... love. In a strange place: the pound. A real keeper, he had thought. But the female grew on him and he changed his ways, became more charming. He then quit his street dog habits to a nice, cozy life with his love.
What will you use him/her for? Fan fics, fan art, fan images, maybe even a role play.
