I remember the series, a few episodes, I guess I'll have to re-watch some on Youtube. Nice TaleSpin source by the way, it looks great.

When I was younger, that was all I'd ever enjoy to watch. I, of course, was very young, but still. My parents never once would sit and watch it, and it has been years since I've asked for it, but they still know exactly what I'm talking about. I loved (and still love) Baloo and thought his performance was better in TaleSpin than The Jungle Book.

Yes, I too would like to applaude you on the TaleSpin forum site. It's done exceptionally well. And I love the show. So very good choice. ;-)

It has aired on Toon Disney apparently (although you can't take my word, as I don't live in the US)
Here in France, it hasn't aired since the 1990's...

As for Youtube videos, you can just make searches for Talespin on youtube's main engine...
Although remember watching there is not very legal. But well, if I hadn't seen some of them there, I probably wouldn't have bought the DVDs so...

I've not seen much of the series but I will on youtube. I have a program that will let me just download them to ipod format and then it's just simply adding them to my library so I'll get to watching it soon.

I also heard that there were two banned episodes that never aired. Also, like last year it was on t.v. but like six months ago they stopped showing.

Yes Steet, it was the same over here in the States. I remember watching that and Darkwing Duck and things like that when I was a kid. And I was born in the 90's so you have it right.

Technically, only uploading videos without clearance from the copyright owner is illegal, and only if the copyright owner chooses to pursue the matter through YouTube or legal channels. Watching an uploaded video is not illegal, especially if you don't download it (and, without the right kind of program, you can't download videos from YouTube).

I'm not really sure about these legality questions; but what I think, is that they (Disney) should really make it available for free on Hulu for example. That would be a way to make it popular again. Or just re-air it on a famous channel...

As for watching on Youtube, I don't recommend watching all the episodes there, because it's really not the same thing watching a tiny 1-inch window with ugly quality, and watching the real DVD.

That's true and not true at the same time, depending on your Computer Moniter size, and when you click on the full screen optioin on Youtube, it can be big. [Depedning]
Some people do post VERY high quality episodes of Talespin, you just have to find it.

All the ones I have seen so far were recorded from TV and not available in HD quality (option which most of the time doesn't make any big difference either)
But I stopped watching there when I got the DVDs anyway...(except for the 11 remaining ones, but I got them elsewhere...)

When ToonDisney switched over to being DisneyXD, the classic 90s toons were cut completely from the air. And they were the reason I'd watch that channel to begin with. *sigh* (In other words, Disney isn't airing them in the US either)

I remember it <3

Actually, I never forgot it. ;)

And now I have the theme song stuck in my head again ._.

Actually there's a dedicated channel here in France which airs all of the Disney animated series (and films) : Disney Cinemagic. (I don't know how much it costs to see it, but that's not free)
Well, almost all, because they are airing all their series, except for...TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck. Argh. (yet they are airing non-Disney films like Land before time or An american tail - never saw Balto either, though)

It's still definitely the best Disney channel...even though they claim it to be for children "between pre-school and teenagers".
Why do they always have to "categorize" people all the time like this...that's beyond me. Why not just making a *good* program, and only THEN see who is interested in watching it - not the other way round...The whole idea of making a program FOR teenagers is absolute garbage to me. (and it always turns out to be, BTW)
