Aftershocks: A Tale of Survival *Me and Wolfhusky!*

Plot: California is a well known Earthquake zone, but still, even knowing this and living there, it can take you by suprise. When a massive quake strikes San Francisco, leveling and flooding it, a group of pets find themselves in a fight for survival. Their owners, and most humans, where evacuated to safety before the quake and the only hope the animals have is to make it out of the city and find their way to a nearby town where the humans were taken but with the city in ruins and flooded, being shaken by aftershocks, this won't be easy. To make matters worse, the surviving animals at the San Francisco Zoo are unleashed, including some viscious predators. The more docile animals meet up with the pets, hoping to meet their zookeeper. However the most determined predator, a cunning white tiger proves to be the most deadly of their enemies. Will they survive to be reunited with their owners or will nature's vengence be their demise?

Rules:

Normal rules apply, plus no gay, incest, ect.

We're not paying attention to actual events in Cailfornia or the world in this.

Any type of pet is allowed, as are many other type of zoo animals. However, we need more pets than zoo animals. The predators are the antagonists, they can be any predatory animal that's kept in a zoo but the White tiger is the main antagonist.

Be respectful to others.

OOC: Ok! We can start!

Tracy was at home, her owners were gone, every human in the city was evacuated, she didn't know way. She looked down at her pup, who'd she'd sung to sleep moments before. Suddenly, the Earth began to shake. "Earthquake..." she muttered, quickly grabbing her puppy and running out the door to find a safer place.

Sally was in a trash can when the quake began. She fell out but avoided spraying from the scare. She knew it was a quake and headed for the open areas of the city, that way to avoid being crushed by debris.

Kira was in her enclosure, in a tree. When the quake began, she looked for a zoo keeper to help but they'd done all they could for the animals before living, there hadn't been time when the warning came.

Danasaya woke up immediatly as the quake begen, She ran out from her den and avoided a falling tree.She ran wild eyed to the most open part of her enclosure.

Lia woke up from her day dream and yelped as a falling brick hit her tail "Oh no" she hispered as the building started to collapse she ran like the wind. HEr keen eyes spotted Sally and she ran over to her friend "Sal!" she yelled "Whats happening?" she asked.

Cassie reared on her back legs and kicked out wildly before gallopinbg round the enclosure in panic.

Amy woke up and listened to the rumbling before realising the house was shaking.She stood up abruptly and tried desperatly to open the door her owners had closed out of habit before they left. She scrabled wild ly before spotting the window was ajar, She nudged it open and lept into the quaking street.

Sally lifted her tail at Lia on reflex but relaxed when she saw who it was. "Don't scare me like that." she panted. "You almost got skunked." she said. "An Earthquake, a bad one." she said. "We need to get away from the buildings to where its clear." she said. "Or else we might get squashed."

Tracy ran with Luke in her mouth, carrying him away from the more dangerious areas.

Kira watched as the walls of her enclosure began to collapse.

Amy ran wildly through the streets and panted she saw Lia and ran up to her and Sally "Come on" she panted "Theres an open space behind my place" she barked.

Lia panted in fear and nodded.

DAnasaya saw Kira and ran to the edge of her enclosure "How can you be so clam?!" she howled.

Cassie raced around again and clashed with part of the fence which collapsed,SHe raced through and started towards the main gate.

"Lead the way." said Sally. "Can one of you carry me? I'm not that fast, that's why skunks can kick up such a big stink to defend ourselves."

Kira smiled. "Because, we're safe, the humans made sure of it and we might get free."

Dana dodged another falling tree "SAFE?!" she yelled.

Amy picked Sally up and placed her on her back "dont fall of" she warned before sprinting towards her street and into the feild behind it.

Lia raced behind Amy and panted as they reached the field.

Sally hung on tight and did her best not to spray from fear, which was rather hard to do given the circumstances but she managed. "Sorry if I end up spraying on accdent, this is really frightening!"

Tracy ran with her pup into the friend and ran headfirst into Lia, bashing heads. Tracy lost consiousness and fell limply to the ground.

Kira rolled her eyes. She picked up a rock and threw it, smacking the Zebra in the groin from behind with great aim, this was just being cruel, knowing it hurt reguardless of gender.

Cassie reared up from a mix of pain and shock.

Danasaya laughed.

Lia dragged Tracy to the field with great difficulty.

Amy put Sally down on the grass "You OK?" she asked.

"My...pup..." muttered Tracy, regaining consciousness for a brief second before fainting again.

Luke was still asleep but on the ground.

"Yeah, we'll be safe here." said Sally, relaxing.

Kira smiled sadistically and threw another rock, this time striking Cassie directly in the groin while she was reared up, hard. She was hitting her there for one simple reason, it was the most pain she could inflict at the moment, she liked to hurt other animals. Her enclosure wall began to fall.

Cassie galloped away as Danasaya roared with laughter.

"Good one kira" she chuckled. She flicked her ears as the earth shook badly.

"He's here" barked Lia dragging the pup up the field.

Amy shivered "Is it just me or is it cold?" she asked.

Luke subconsciously cuddled up to his mother.

Sally nodded. "Its the air pressure change from the quake." she said, the quake begining to ease up.

Kira watched her enclosure's wall finally collapse. She smiled and escaped. She went over to Dana and opened the door. "Ready to go?"
