Yeah, I have Kohaku Zero to thank for getting me to rp Zoids once, now I'm pretty hooked XD I'm hoping this doesn't die right off the bat, I rather like it so far.

Story

After a cancelled battle, due to bad weather, Sei and her A.I partner Zoid Saizer get stuck in the middle of nowhere in a storm with no way of getting back to town, or communicating with anyone beyond a few miles. With damaging winds carrying flying debris, as well as frequent lightning strikes, they need help, or shelter soon.

#2- Please keep posts in order of joining (me, first person to join, second person to join etc...)
#3- No god-modding/powerplaying (all powefrul characters that can't be beat etc...)
#4- Only join if you are going to be active please, it will influence the flow of the role-play if you join and can't keep up.
#5- Remember to deactivate signatures in this section, its distracting.
#6- Please post a minimum of 4-5 sentences. This is an ADVANCED roleplay after all.

Personality: Usually calm and easy going, but can get excited in certain situations such as battles, fun, friendly, but can be quite stubborn at times, caring, strategical with using stealth and speed rather than raw power with recklessness
Likes: Relaxing with a good book, music, running/talking with Saizer, the country side or wide open places,
Dislikes: Stuck up pilots that brag and think they're better than everyone else, sexists, disrespect, getting up early, being teased about her height, spiders, cheating, perverts, overconfidence, ignorance, immaturity
Zoid: Saizer (Red and black Lightning Saix)
Other: A lone fighter, but would like to one day make up a team, as she does get lonely. Has tried to hire some pilots but so far nothing has worked out. Zoid has AI system and can act and think, even speak on its own if needed, often striking up conversation with Sei, sometimes randomly, or in inopportune times such as in the middle of a battle, usually with unrelated subjects. Has own personality, being intelligent a bit vain, sarcastic and teasing, though does care for Sei, and is rather protective. But never acts on own unless absolutely necessary in battle, or outside of battles.

To say it was merely raining would be a understatement. The rain was coming down in sheets of cold, stinging water, making it nearly impossible to see just a few feet in front of you. It was pitch black, save for the bright and frequent bursts of lightning that streaked across the sky, followed by the loud booming thunder that followed each angry crack. Even over the booming, the sharp whistling winds blew fiercely, capable of knocking over good sized trees, as well as rocks, dirt, and anything light enough to be picked up. And any object picked up instantly turned into weapons, able to injure those out in the weather. A fierce storm indeed. Any smart person or creature would have been wise to seek shelter early on before it had moved in, for it was dangerous to be out in such a ferocious storm.

Unfortunately, there was atleast one that was out in the storm, trying desperately to find shelter from its elements. A young adult named Sei, 21, and her black and dark red Lightning Saix, Saizer. They had been in the middle of a battle when the storm had rolled in. At first it had not been anything to worry about. Some rain and wind, nothing they couldn't handle, along with the overly confident pilot she was facing that day. But all to soon, it grew worse within fifteen minutes, and the battle ended up being cancelled due to the increasingly hazardous weather. Disappointing, considering the female was a move or two from winning against the weighed down Gun Sniper she up against. The heavy guns mounted on the other Zoid made it much slower than usual, giving the Lightning Saix even more an advantage. The pilot hadn't even used the sniper gun on the tail, sticking to just launching off missiles and its other guns. A long range Zoid against a swift, close combat Zoid... Not the best matching, or odds for the other.

While her opponent had taken off in her transport, big enough to handle the roughening winds and flying debris, Sei's wasn't. And trying to head back to the safety of the town was heading right into the oncoming storm. In it's rough winds and the slick ground due to the rain, her transport vehicle slid hard and got stuck hard. It was no use trying to waste gas and flooring it. With a frustrated growl, Sei smacked the front of the steering wheel, making the horn go off briefly, though its sound was lost in the booming thunder.

"Bloody wonderful." She spoke aloud, knowing there was only one alternative. Sei would have to get out and pilot Saizer back. And she was going to get absolutely soaked the instant she stepped out too. Why her? Why today? The day had started out so well... Finally with a sigh, her bright blue eyes turned to look out the window with an annoyed look, though any image was blurred by the rain. "Well, better get this over with..." pulling up her light, almost white blonde, waist length hair into a pony tail to keep it out of her hair, the female killed the engine and unstrapped herself from the seat, opened the door and leapt out, futilely trying to cover herself with her arms from the rain as she climbed up the side of the vehicle to her Zoid. Unhooking the clamps and such holding the Lightning Saix securely in place, she then was about to climb up to the cockpit, when the Zoid's green eyes lit up, glowing bright in the darkness. It then lowered it's head to the female, it's cockpit opening for her to get in, which she did quickly, wanting out of the rain.

Once inside, the top closed back over her, and Sei leaned back in the seat a moment, running her hands over her hair, though it was futile. Yep, soaked, and then some. Stupid weather. As the Zoid came to life, the panels all lighting up and buzzing around her, the girl smiled a bit as she felt the heat kick on. "Mm, thanks Sai, just what I needed. I'm freezing."

You're getting my seat all wet. It's going to mold now.

"Oh you big metal baby, no it won't. It'll dry. After we get to town, I'll wipe it, alright? Don't get your circuits in a knot." She chuckled, sitting up and slapping the dashboard lightly. A soft rumbling growl was her reply.

If I detect any sign of fungal life on that seat, you owe me a full body conditioning. Inside and out.

Sei rolled her blue eyes. Maybe this was why only a rare few Zoids had an AI system and could speak and learn on their own. Who knew they could be such whinners.

"For the big bad Zoid you make yourself out to be, you sure are vain Saizer. Now come on, lets get out of here and back to town, its getting real dangerous out there now with all the lightning. Can you plot our course and start us off?"

Far ahead of you. Destination plotted and all systems ready. With a small blip, the map of the area popped up on the screen, showing the path back. Because of the heavy rain and darkening skies, traveling by her human eyes alone wouldn't cut it for long. Thank god for Zoid technology. With a gentle murr, the cockpit seat's harness lowered around Sei, buckling her in securely. The female nodded, looking out the Zoid's eye window, placing her hands around the controls.

"Alright, lets get out of this mud-hole Sai." With that, carefully stepping off the transport vehicle, Zoid and pilot turned due west in the direction of their destination, and took off. "Not too fast Sai, its getting muddy with all this heavy rain. We can't risk any accidents out here." Getting stuck out here, especially in this bad weather, would not be good. The female just hoped they got back safely. Another rumbling growl was her reply.

Sei, I am a high performance, not to mention intelligent, Zoid. A little mud, rain and static discharge is not going to-- The sleek Zoid didn't even get to finish before a bright clap of lightning struck, unfortunately striking the Lightning Saix in mid stride, causing it to seize up, tripping it as the electricity ran along its mechanical body. Sei was jolted hard in the cockpit as they crashed to the ground, skidding a good fifty yards atleast before halting. the lights around her flickered a few times before gaining strength and returning fully with a hum. Groaning, the female shook her head, raising a hand to rub her had. That smarted. What happened? Well, obviously, lightning must have stuck them.

"Ugh, Sai you put a whole new meaning to being a Lightning Saix. You jinxed us you big metal oaf. You just had to say it didn't you?" she sighed as she felt the Zoid coming back to life and moving to push himself back to his feet, if just a bit slower than usual. "Talk to me Sai, status report...!" It was silent another moment as beeping and buzzing from the panels ran tests.

For the most part, everything is in order. However, my directional systems are damaged from the strike. And some throttle and joint circuits are also damaged. I can still move, but we're not going anywhere fast now. At that, the blonde groaned, running a hand through her hair and closing her eyes. Wonderful. Because being stuck out in this weather even longer than usual was just what they needed. I can still return us to town.

"Sai you just said your directional system is shot, how can you say that?" Silence for a few moments. "Saizer, just admit it, we're lost."


...Alright... I believe you're correct. It seems we are indeed lost... Without a course, they had no way of getting back to town now. They were stuck wandering this flat open range for shelter from the storm ranging around them, miles from the nearest civilization.

Name: Gadiel Koenig
Gender: Male

Human Or Zoid: Human

Personality: Boastful, argumentative, and superior (in his mind at least) but he's very courageous and hardworking. He also has a bit of a charitable side when the mood strikes him.
Likes: Battling and of course winning. Always being busy with something to do, no matter its importance. He enjoys hearing himself talk as well. He likes getting up super-early just to go climbing, whether it be a mountain or a tree or even his Zoid.
Disklikes: Losing, people calling him out on his faults before he figures them out for himself. Being too used to getting only 6 hours of sleep every night.
Zoid: Hosmer II (a black and tan Hound Soldier)
History: Has been using a Command Wolf ever since he received his Zoid license. He became such a master of his beloved Zoid, even if it was just a beginner's Zoid. He won many battles for his father Rickert, who was basically living out his dream through his son, which Gadiel didn't mind. His father had a bad heart and couldn't pilot a Zoid.

Not long after Gadiel turned 18, Rickert died, and then the Command Wolf did as well, being old and all. Gadiel was left with plenty of money to buy a new Zoid, and he did. But not knowing much about any Zoids other than Command Wolves, he bought a Hound Soldier, thinking it would run the same way. It kind of did, but Gadiel wasn't used to the high speed battles the Zoid was usually used for in wars. But since the Hound Soldier was an old model, finding parts for it is rare, so no one would buy it off him.

Not wanting to stay home, Gadiel and his Hound Solider, which he named after his Command Wolf Hosmer, traveled around the country together. They mostly worked as mercenaries, however, since Gadiel hasn't yet mastered the high speed of the Hound Soldier, they don't get too many returning customers, but they do win enough battles to survive. After a while Gadiel regretted not taking his father's truck to tow around his Zoid, as opposed to just piloting it around everywhere, so now he's just trying to afford a carrier.
Other: Gadiel has a guilty pleasure of talking to Hosmer. He doesn't always do it in front of people tho.

About two miles away from Sei's location, Gadiel was having the same problems navigating through the storm. The Hound Soldier trotted steadily near the base of a mountain, which was the place where lightning was less likely to hit them. The last thing they both wanted was to be frozen out in the middle of no where. Thankfully the next town was only a few miles east of them, by now. At least that's what the map said a few hours ago before the storm started. Hosmer already had the location downloaded, so he was confident with his sense of direction. Gadiel would just have to trust him on that.

Unidentified Zoid at 2 o'clock on the radar.

"Is it approaching us?" Gadiel asked, hoping he didn't have to teach any rogues a lesson. He never really had to before, but it was always a possibility, since there were so many thieves of Zoid parts.

Negative. It appears to be frozen. No intelligent person would stand out in the open in a storm. Its power is still on, so chances of the pilot still being there are likely.

"I hope it's nothing serious. We should help them out." After all, maybe they'll get a free meal out of it. "Try to stay low to the ground. We don't want to get struck by lightning."

Hosmer did as he was told and crouched low, practically crawling out to the frozen Zoid. Despite that it was merely an order, Hosmer was actually enjoying the mud. As long as he was power-washed afterward, which was just as enjoyable. He was such a dog sometimes.

The unidentified Zoid eventually came into view through the rain, which only seemed to die down just for a moment. Hosmer growled.

"It's a Lightning Saix." Gadiel smirked. "I've only seen those battle on tv. I wonder if they're common around here."

I don't see a pilot. Time to go. The Hound Soldier tried to leave the area, but Gadiel took control before his Zoid got too far.

"What are you talking about? Stop making excuses, you crazy animal." Gadiel chuckled. "Let's help the guy out with his Saix." He turned on his speakers to contact anyone in the cockpit. "If there's anyone there, are you okay?"

I'd like to join but first I have some questions. Are we limited to existing Zoids or if we have our own we've created, can we use them? Also, is this one of those RPs that the plot changes as it goes?

I'd rather stick to official, existing Zoids since I want to have a picture of it. But if you want to give some info on it, I'll have a look and decide from there maybe. I just want to keep away from invinsible Zoids and all. Not that yours is, just in general.

Probably, or I'll start a second, real one, when there are a few more joined members.

Likes:He likes to practice his skills with his Rayse tiger. Likes to take his Rayse Tiger for runs early in the morning, his zoid also loves that.
Disklikes: people picking on his friends, immaturity, overconfidence, and stuck up pilotes that think that they are all that. Micheal and Rayse both hates sexists, ignorance, and perverts.
Zoid: Rayse Tiger
Other:The Rayse Tiger is upgraded fully. The Rayse Tiger weapons are 3-Barreled Shock Cannon, Pinpoint Laser Cannon x2, 2-Barreled Beam Cannon, Strike Laser Claw x4, Explode Bite. The Rayse Tiger has a full A.I. unit in it. The A.I. is used for talking to Micheal and other people if Micheal let's him but sometimes is being stupid and immature and talks in middle of battles. The Rayse Tiger is a lone fighter alongside Micheal. They love being lone fighters but the truth is they are looking for the right people to be their team mates in battles. They haven't found any, yet. The Rayse Tiger has it own personality. The Rayse Tiger is funny, intelligent, sarcastic, serious, and a good person over all to hang out with.

Micheal was out roaming around in a horrible storm but Micheal and Rayse Tiger is used to these kind of storms because this is what they practice in for approving their skills together. He and the Rayse Tiger was out about roaming and dodging the lightning about 30,000 miles away from Sei and her Lightning Saix. When Micheal and his Rayse Tiger got nearer to Sei Rayse picked up two Zoids on his radar. With a ... bleep ... Micheal had the map shown to him and he seen the Saix and another Zoid on Rayse's radar. Micheal then said "How many Zoids are there and are they moving, Rayse."

Rayse reponded by stating First target ... moving ..... Second target ... standing still.

Micheal then said "Rayse get to them now, we need to see if target two is alright."

Rayse then responded by stating Approaching second target at ... 250 KM/H.

When they approached the lightning saix, Micheal got on the transmission and obtained a link with the lightning saix and then asked very seriously "Anyone in there?"

The blonde female was currently busy with the computer panel, taking in information and such for a possible manual course, the soft clicking of the keys and the blips of sound from the panels the only sound other than the roar of the rain pounding down outside. So focused on her tasks, Sei didn't notice that on the radar were incoming targets. It seemed neither did Saizer, who was also busy going through his partner's commands and running the codes numbers through the computer. It wasn't until the first approaching target was next to them, and Sei's com speaker burst to live with a voice, did either of them finally actually notice the presence.

The female jumped at the sudden voice, feeling her heart escalate in her chest as her task was cut short, in her surprise, her fingers had jumped across the wrong keys, and the panel beside her rang negatively. Geeze, that had taken her by surprise. Saizer it seemed as well, as he reacted in a split second, whirling his head around with a snarl, the guns mounted on his back swiveling around at the other, locking on. After all, who knew if this Zoid wanted trouble. The two of them were pretty much stranded after all, would have been an easy job. Sei relaxed slightly seeing it was just another Zoid, but still stayed on alert, thinking the same as the Lightning Saix.

"Saizer wait, hold fire. If they meant any harm they would have attacked a while ago..." But why was there another Zoid out in this weather? As her camera came up on the screen with a visual. A Hound Soldier? Even more confusing. But putting that aside for later conversation perhaps, she connected with the other, accepting the transmission. Good thing The Zoid was within the range of the damaged connection. "Yes, I'm alright. We got struck by lightning and took some damage. We're not getting anywhere fast. Some gears were jammed apparently, along with long range communication. I--" Another blip on the radar caught her attention this time, and the blonde took a glance, seeing that what seemed to be another Zoid was coming up surprisingly. A friend of this guy's maybe?

Seems we're quite popular today.

As the Rayse Tiger showed up and asked the same question, Sei answered again with an affirmative. "What are you guys doing out here anyway? I'd have thought no one else would be out here." Since they were only out here because her transportation vehicle got stuck. Well good thing they had shown up, because they sure needed help. Though how they were going to was uncertain. Unless one had a transport of some sort. She was distracted from her thoughts when Saizer spoke up again with very interesting information.

Sei, they're units are allo installed with A.I systems... Well that explained a few things...

OOC: Do I have to write as long posts as everyone else? I'm good at about five or six lines of text but not that much.

Hosmer jumped and growled, readying his own guns at the Lightning Saix once it whipped its guns at him. He could tell this cat was going to be more trouble than its worth. But unfortunately Gadiel wanted to help. Fortunately enough, tho, the soothing sound of a female's voice came onto the intercom, explaining the situation. Hosmer liked girls. As a matter of fact his old pilot was female, and he rather missed the feminine touch. Gadiel was great buuuut, he wasn't too concerned on keeping his Zoid clean. Another reason why Hosmer was thankful for the rain.

"My Hound Soldier has a power connection port. Do you think a jump-start will do the trick?" Gadiel asked. He was always prepared for situations like this, just in case even Hosmer broke down.

Master, another unidentified Zoid is approaching us. Should I attack?

"No, it might be a friend of hers. Let's see if they can help too."



OOC: For anyone else joining, I...don't think it'd be too logical for a fourth Zoid to come into the picture while everyone's out in the rain xD Might wanna hang tight or put in an entry to show what your character(s) are doing elsewhere.

Rayse walked over to where they were all standing and Micheal said "I am here to help. I have a docking bay that isn't very far away. Do you want me to get it on transmission so I can bring it over hear and have you two dock in it. I will give your Hound Soldier a much needed wash and I will repair your Lightning Saix. You can repair your Lightning Saix instead, if you want to." Micheal then got his Docking Bay on the intercom and said "Go to my co-ordinates as fast as possible." Then he got the Lightning Saix on the intercom again and said "Mam, I have a docking bay that is come this way. When it gets hear I am going to have your Lightning Saix repaired by you or by me. It doesn't matter to me, I just want to help. Why are you guys out in this bad of a storm anyways."

Gadiel thought that was awfully convenient and nice of him. Hosmer didn't trust him, but they would have to right now if they wanted to get that girl and her Saix out of the muck. It was a good thing he did come tho. Now that he thought about it, Gadiel wasn't even sure how just he and Hosmer were going to get that huge machine going if it couldn't get jolted back to normal in this weather.

"Thanks, man. Who are you anyway?" Gadiel turned to the girl. "And while we're at it, who are you?"

That was really nice of the pilot, considering he had no idea who she, nor the other, were at all. Complete and utter strangers that just coincidentally had found each other. Well, they'd found her, that is. She was going nowhere fast, and couldn't have found anyone. Really, when it came down to it, Sei didn't have much of a choice. It was either accept, or stay out here in this weather, which definitely wasn't high on the female's list of things to do today. Just the thought of it going with two men she'd just met her made her a bit uncomfortable. And Sei knew that Saizer wasn't to thrilled either for the same reasons, as he always grew quiet when he was thinking or unhappy. Cutting off the com link a moment, she felt the urge to ask him.

"Sai? What do you think? It's our only way out of here..." While in the end, it was really up to her, she liked to have her partner's input on the situation. It was quiet another short moment.

Seems to be. Once we're in that docking bay however, I'm not going to be able to protect you after you leave... Sei sighed. Yeah, that was true.

"I'll be fine, you worry too much. Think of it as a break. Some... down time. If this guy can repair the damage from the lightning strike, we'd be back and ready for that rematch, remember?" A soft purring reply made her smile some. Reopening the com link, the blonde replied with their choice. "Alright, seeing as I don't have much of a choice, I'll accept. And by the way, the name's Sei Iijima. As for why I'm out here, I'll explain later, can we get out of this storm now please?"

Psh, awfully pushy, isn't she?

"Oh, shut up, hahaha." Gadiel said to the Hound Soldier, muting his com link temporarily. "Sei, huh? Strange name. Anyway, I have some cables here we can hook up to your Zoid. Let's try and jump start that thing, shall we?"

You're not serious about fettering me up to that cat, are you?

"Its hardly fettering, Hosmer, we're just trying to give it a little jolt so that we can make this easier." Gadiel made Hosmer lower his head to make it easier to jump out of the cockpit. Once outside in the pouring rain, the curly-haired Zoid pilot climbed up to the heart of his machine and pulled out the jumper cords. It was quite the trip making it over to the Lightning Saix, stomping through the water and mud, dragging along these cords that were thicker than his own arms.

Micheal said "Okay, Ma'am. My docking Bay is almost here." As Micheal was saying that, his docking bay was in sight of all their eyes. When it approached and lowered a platform for them to board, Micheal said "I always help nice people when I see them in trouble and quite honestly Sei. You need lots of help. So lets board and see what we can do. And by the way my name is Micheal and my code name for solo fights is Destroyer." Destroyer is the fourth best solo fighter all because of his Rayse Tiger. Rayse then jumped on the platform and got loaded into the docking bay.
