I am going to post some of my poems and other things that I have written that aren't about Balto or Wolves. Feedback appreciated.
Black Emerald By Ahura Werewolf
Awakening in the darkness of the night. As I open my eyes. Emerald Eyes an a Emerald Stare looks back. Quiet foot falls as the silent shape crosses the room. A smile tugs at my lips. I am not afraid. My silent guardian of my heart. She climbs onto my bed and curls up at my side. I put my hand on her silky warmth. She licks my face. I fall back asleep. Knowing she is there and she always will be.
Rusted Prow By Ahura Werewolf
Slipping beneath the blanket of the waves. Into the silent darkness. Lies a sleeping lady. Rust has adorned her crown. Rising mightily from the bottom. The voices of the ghosts still echo within her decks. Going through their final moments. Watching as green death creped over the rails. Eerily it comes towards them. As it envelopes them it squelches the cries. The massive hull sunders in half sending showers of sparks like so many shooting stars into the air. The last refuge swings up and is silhouetted against the sky like a giant black thumb. Soon the once calm seas are turned white from the thrashing of struggling bodies. Grabbing onto anything in a desperate attempt to survive. The moans gradually fade away. Leaving bobbing white shapes in the water. Those in the boats are helpless and can only wait for something that never seems to come. Flares on the horizon signal the approach of hope. As those who are rescued from the cruel mistress. The questions start. How could this happen? How many died? Will I ever see my loved ones again? Around the world the news flashes. The unsinkable queen has been assassinated by a man in white. As the inquiries into the death of the queen start. The grime work of collecting the unfortunate from the embrace of the mistress begins. So many are beyond recognizable they are given back to the sea. Others find the final rest in the land they were bound. In the land of the maple leaf. Grey pillars rise to a new dawn. Row after row of names. All perished April 15th, 1912, The North Atlantic. As for the queen she is now become the queen of the deep. Her story will live on forever.
