The African wild dog, also called Cape hunting dog or painted dog, typically roams the open plains and sparse woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa.

These long-legged canines have only four toes per foot, unlike other dogs, which have five toes on their forefeet. The dog's Latin name means "painted wolf," referring to the animal's irregular, mottled coat, which features patches of red, black, brown, white, and yellow fur. Each animal has its own unique coat pattern, and all have big, rounded ears.

African wild dogs live in packs that are usually dominated by a monogamous breeding pair. The female has a litter of 2 to 20 pups, which are cared for by the entire pack. These dogs are very social, and packs have been known to share food and to assist weak or ill members. Social interactions are common, and the dogs communicate by touch, actions, and vocalizations.




Tomoyo is a Alpha Female of her small pack of three, a bad number of African Wild Dogs.She and her pack eat scarcly, but when a famine in food comes the pack goes into panic "Tomoyo!" Her brother asks in terror "I'm starving!What are we suppose to do?" He whinned, Tomoyo had no Alpha Male but she needed one.She shushed her brother and calmed him down before speaking to again "We have to move west.." She sighed heavily, looking down at the land their generations had lived on since the beginning of their family."But..." Her sister looked down also "What about the word home?" She asked her older sister, Tomoyo shook her head "That word means everything to us, but we have to put that behind to live.

After a few months they decided to stop, their journey was far and hard but they had made it to a watering hole.Tomoyo began making the den larger by digging it, her ear twitched at a sound.Another African wild Dog pack...she looked around the horizon, three were across the river, calling for her.A handsom male stood infront, his name was Hulo.He falshed a smile before striding into the river and to Tomoyo.She stood her ground as he smiled yet again "Please..I mean no harm!" He bowed, as did she "We wish to stay with you..." The female behind him was his sister, and the male his friend who tagged along.

Will the pack survive?
Will love spring?
Or will everything turn into chaos?
