If you don't want to be subjected to stupid junk on the shoutbox then stay off. I seldom go there. I grow tired of all those words which have been augmented with the suffix "ish" which is supposed to signify a friendly and good natured atmosphere. And all those clever misspellings of words that work to similar effects. Along with many other word modifications. People who have spent time on the shoutbox know what I'm talking about. Some of the word modifications are alright, but what I see is overboard and annoying.

Nothing you can really do about lame conversations except ignore them, and/or start your own conversation. Don't expect any rules to the effect of limiting discussions on certain shows or whatever, if it's not against standing rules then it is unlikely that it will happen.

Guess what? Contrary to popular belief, it IS possible to have more than one conversation at a time in the SB. If you don't want to be in a conversation, DON'T be in it. Everyone's allowed to talk about whatever they like (within the site rules, of course) and you have no right to tell them otherwise.



What should be added to the rules? No conversations about the Jonas Brothers? I don't think so.

EDIT: Also, if you would like to change the subject, don't say "Okay J/B is annoying so shut up about them PLEASE!" because most likely they will just try to convince them otherwise. The thing is, if they haven't posted for two minutes or something, just change the subject. For example:

J/B Fan1: Lol yer they are so awesome. I went to their concert when they came to Georgia.
You: You live in Georgia? Cool. I'm from Tenesse (or wherever you may be from).

Get the idea? The best way to get someone to stop talking about something, is to get them to forget about it.

Please don't use SMS. "2" in your title should be "Too many usernames with J/B fans!"

I agree that this is very annoying. And as far as names go, I always tell these people they're being really unoriginal. P: Because it's true. It's almost as bad as the amount of people with "Balto" in their names. They're just naming themselves after someone else.

However you can't control what people discuss in the shout box. And you don't need to talk about it with them. Just ignore them if you're not interested in what they have to say.



That's unfair. You can't decide that's how every fan behaves. Sure, most of them might fall under that category. But not all. I'm personally sick of these stereotypes. I'm a fan for Twilight, and far too many people assume that makes me a "silly child who loves Edward Cullen blah blah". That couldn't be farther from the truth.

Urgh. My view on this all :
I am really sick of both sides - JB haters, and JB lovers.
EVERY one can talk about a subject [That follows the rules] they Want to.
There is a line they can cross "Joe is hawt1111!!!!" is an example.
If you don't like the JB's, and there are people talking about them, ask nicely for them to stop. And if they don't just leave.
I see many people say JB fans are rabid. You people that diss it and complain about it - Are just as bad, just as anoyying.
I'm sorry, that's how I see it.
You like it - Take it to PM's.
You hate it- Then hate it to Pm's.
When you say you "luv" joe or whoever, that's plain creepy, when you say you "Hate" joe or whoever, that's plain anoyying.
JB fans are going to exist. JB haters are going to live.
And for those who say: Omg i can't talk in pm's cuz like the pm thingy don't work
Then : Go somewhere else, use your profile comments or whatever.
I am tireing of this Loving and hating talk. Not every fan is loco. Maybe most of them act like it; but they all aren't.
I really tire of seeing : Joe, Wolf, Alue, Kodi, husky, dog in usernames, it's just not creative anymore. But nothing I can do about it.
My view on all of this; I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

I wouldn't say I am on a side- true I am not a fan of the JB's.
You see the JB's fans anoyying, and don't mind to complain about their music, yes?
The JB fans...well I can't speak for them.
But I would guess they don't like to be conciderd 'loco' as

Stop saying they hate them.

And as JB haters diss the music. They don't have like it. But it's not increable smart to say put downs on it in a public chatbox.
It's not easy singing.

The JB haters complain so much about it; it brings them back up.
And when you critic something you have no idea how to do; that's lame in my point of view.
