From Sucker Punch Studios, the guys who made the Sly Cooper franchise, comes this game!
Basically, a postal worker for a UPS-like company delivers a package which turns out to be a bomb, which goes off in the middle of his city (called Empire City). He's surprisingly only knocked unconscious by this, but when he wakes up two weeks later, he finds two things: 1.) six blocks of the city has been destroyed, and drug gangs have imposed martial law upon three sections of the city in wake of the explosion. 2.) he's somehow acquired electrical powers, making him a sort of superhero!
The game is a sandbox setup, which revolves around not just fighting the drug gangs, but also on a karma system like that of Fallout 3, where everything you do adds or subtracts from your karma score, and affects both how civilians react to you, and which powers increase in potency.
It looks cool! It comes out on May 20-something for the PS3. Anyone else interested in this game?

I watched my brother play this game for a few minutes, and he also told me some things about it. It looks cool, I've always liked sandbox games. Although I haven't played it, the inability to use firearms makes me less interested in the game. It's not that I'm a gun nut, but weapons always seemed like a necessity in these kinds of games. Combining electricity and gunfire for some special moves would have been cool. Although I cannot and will not judge the game(because I haven't played it), I predict that it will fall short because of the lack of gunplay.

Just picked it up yesterday and played for hours. It's surprisingly lengthy. I would've beaten the average modern game twice over by now.
