Ok,so jenna believes balto to be dead,(Explained later on) and has mated with this alsation (I know she probably wouldnt but hey) Ace the balto comes back and well it all kinds of snowballs.Oh yeh! And the only girl in the litter (rayni) is still living with her parents (Jenna and Ace) so some bits concentrate on her.So heres the very beggining:

"Ace" Jennas soft voice was music to the alsations ears.He moved forwards "h-h-h-how many?" he stuttered looking at the bundles of tricolour fur."Six,five boys one girl" she said as she nuzzled the beaming pedigree,she loved him but she couldnt help feeling sad,this time a couple of years ago she'd been sharing a tender moment with the wolf dog she'd loved."Jenna,whats up?" thh males voice cut through Jennas memories like a knife."Nothing,nothing" she smiled at Ace.He'd helped her through one of the most difficult times in her life and she loved him but she could never quite forget Balto."It's him isnt it?" Ace said.Jenna sighed just the way Ace said him made her wonder.She loved Ace but she hated the way he said the name Balto but she ignored it.Ace smiled and nuzzled Jenna and Jenna returned the gesture.Then she started to remember the last time she'd seen Balto.



"Jenna I'll be fine,dont worry" laughed the hybrid.Jenna smiled "I always worry about you" she smiled "but please be careful love" she whispered.Balto nodded Jenna stepped out of the way and the team set off.



Jenna looked up,Ace had gone and the pups were nuzzling her.she sighed.Balto was the thing that was troubling her and Ace knew it.

It doesnt have a decided title yet so any ideas or coimments about the fic?

The pups grew quickly,Jenna wached their progress with interest.As did many mushers in town,Ace was a strong dog, They wanted to see if any pups had any talent.Soon the day came when the pups were put up for adoption,Rosy had been allowed to keep the female pup as a present for her cousin (Who was coming over later in the month) so there was only five in the adoption box.Ace's owner had agreed to deal with the adoptions so he had set the price.

"Eighty five dollars" said Ace "Bit steep isnt it" he said to his mate.enna nodded though she wasnt really listening,Her and Baltos pups had been given away for nothing.It made her wonder if Ace's pups were higher valued because they were full dog.

"Mummy,Wheres Rayni?" barked one pup.Jenna looked at the pup,It was one of the few that had inheried her looks,"Raynis found a human" explained Jenna "You lot are being shown to he humans cause your all super special" she knew this was what the pup wanted to hear."Are you getting new humans too?" inquired another.Ace laughed softly.

"Nah,Me and Your mother already have humans,Besides who'd want some od grown ups like us?" he joked.Jenna sat down as a human picked up one pup and paid Ace's owner ,Mr Dandy, the adoption fee. "He's a musher" whispered Ace proudly "that'll be a great home for Demon"



Oh and Beautiful disaster seems to be the most popular name but if youve got an idea please tell me.Thnks

Thanks!Any suggestions to make it better? This is my first adventure into Balto fanfiction that Im trying to get don (And publish on the sight)

It will take some time to get used to Jenna mating with another dog, but it is a beautifully written story and definitely one I'll enjoy reading. What would be another good twist on the story is if one of the puppies gets lost, and Balto, who like you said, is still alive, finds and takes care of him/her, then takes the pup back to Nome and everybody is shocked

Thats just a thought of mine, though. Write it however you would like it to be

ooooooooooooh!Great Idea!,I'm actually enjoying writing this and thanks for all the comments people.Widetail-Yeah I know,I came up with the idea on a train journey so lots of gaps are there still (I often come up with Fanfics on long journeys)

Sorry for the double post but heres the next bit.

The day passed smoothly with all the puppies being adopted,Jenna was pleased but also sad.Something that Ace noticed."Come on Jen,Cheer up" he said to his mate.Jenna smiled weakly,but in reality she wanted to cry.Ace sighed "Its Balto isnt it?" he whispered.Jenna nodded "I love you Ace,Its just..." she trailed off.Ace looked at his mate "Come on Jenna,Hes gone now,let it go" he whispered.Jenna nodded but inside she wanted to scream at Ace,To tell him she was upset and she missed Balto,But she kept quiet.

As soon as she got home there was a thud at the door,She nudged the door open and looked at the young male stood outside,"Hey Dingo" she smiled letting the dog in.Her smile seemed fake,And it was."Mum whats up?" asked Dingo,his young face was curious as he sat down.Jenna forced a smile "Nothing dear" she said with fake cheeriness.Dingo shook his head "Something is wrong,Your smiling with your mouth but not with your eyes" he said.

I am definitely enjoying this fic and I'm interested to know what happens with Balto. Nice work so far.

Thanks vivid.Ive hit a section where i have sort of hit a block so dont expec much for a while.(Then again I'll probably be fine in a cuople of minutesnow I've said that).Just outofinterest does anyone have any ideas for names for the other four pups?
