I'm sure lots of folks have had this happen. You are watching a cartoon and all of a sudden a character just catches your interest either because of looks, design, voice or personality and for one brief second or so you find yourself attracted to them.

Then you are immediately freaked out because you just shouldn't be crushing on a cartoon character let alone that cartoon character.

For me personally it's Cruella De Ville she wants to kill Puppies to make a coat I should not be thinking what a good dom she'd make.

So what about the rest of you what's your disturbing cartoon crush.

I've never had Cartoon crushes because they don't look real enough to me, but I've never found an actor/actress beautiful or pretty either for the same reason. Everything that is virtual remain virtual in my head, even if an actor is actually a real person, I've never met them so...

I just wanted to ask you how you could have crushes on animal characters, it sounds really weird but I guess all of you have reasons and could explain it to me.

Well, Its not distirbing, but Bolt. Its mix between Fandom/crush, but it still fits here.

Most cartoon characters, particularity in movies, are designed to look somewhat like their respective actor and the actors mannerisms are adapted to the character...so next time you watch Balto imagine a furry Kevin Bacon and you might be surprised how much the two are alike.

*nods vigorously* The voice actor/ress has A LOT to do with it. I got into this argument with my coworkers over this whole thing. It's a really interesting topic so here is my personal input. I've deduced everything down to this and it's pretty simple to understand:

1.Humans are attracted to other humans by default.
2.Animated characters are given human characteristics.
3.Therefore real humans can be attracted to these characteristics.
4. Therefore real humans can be attracted to the characters themselves.

The only factor remaining is "Can you look past the fact that it's a drawing and find the attractive humanoid part of it?"

Some people can and some cannot. I definitely can. It's not weird. I think it's really natural. Afterall, lots and lots of people can do it!

Well, for me, these crushes are... Basically all the canine females!

Rita from Oliver and Company, Vixey from Fox and The Hound, Dixie from Fox and The Hound 2, Sasha La Fleur from All Dogs Go To Heaven 2, Jenna from Balto, Angel from Lady and The Tramp 2... And more that I might not remember xDDD

I love Kiba from Wolf's Rain. xD Hes hot as a human....

I don't find it disturbing that I find this dude...
