I have an idea for a story involving a carnival, and I need some input. What are your favorite things about carnivals? Sights, sounds, snacks, games, rides? Fill me in!
(P.S. The story involves a couple, so think of things you'd like to do with someone special)

Those who provide input will be recognized when the story is released, unless of course they request otherwise.

Cotton Candy Buckets are the best creation ever!
I also like petting zoos. I don't have & don't want a relationship, so I'm not sure about what I'd do with someone special. Probaby just eat cotton candy and cuddle the chickies ^^
Popcorn at my elementary school's carnival was really good too.

Some have dog shows and rollacosters. There's ghost trains and dodgems and things. XD They also have music thats seems to always get stuck in your head

Pikayu --> I've never had cotton candy out of a bucket, but it sounds tasty. Popcorn, too. And petting zoos are always fun.

Jersey --> You're right about that. Theme parks do have an edge (I have never ridden the Big Flush at a traveling fair), but there's a kind of simple charm about a traveling or annual carnival that you just don't get with big fancy places like Six Flags. Your remark about the "tasty but unhealthy food" gives me an idea, as do several other things you mentioned...
(P.S. I had to laugh at the lyrics bit. Nice touch).

diego --> Hmm. In the context of my plans, a dog show could be really good or really bad. But what's a "dodgem?" Is that liek bumper cars or something?

My favorite things about carnivals are.........

1.The games.

2.The rides.

3.The food.

Rides mostly, but I also like seeing shows that are put on, like a magic show, or a small play/skit that a small group puts on.

Jersey --> Yep, those were the days when movies were movies. And those are some interesting theme parks (I rememer reading a book that mentioned a Storybook Land, but they had it near Pittsburg).

jc- Do you ever visit Astroland in Coney Island, Brooklyn?
