In a village in the middle of nowhere, werewolves live in peace, undisturbed by the rest of the world. But that’s about to be destroyed. A human has found them and he isn’t about to keep it a secret. He runs straight to the mayor of a nearby town and tells him then leads a party out to prove it. When they arrive, they kill many of the werewolves. The survivors are scattered in small groups of two or three. The chief’s daughter is lead away by her uncle and he takes her straight to the town. He tells her that he has a friend there who will shelter them.
Where does he take her? Into a bar where he saves a male werewolf from getting into a fight. He asks the werewolf to watch over her for a few days, show her the ropes of town, and give her a place to stay while he goes back to the camp and tries to find the others. Reluctantly, this werewolf agrees.
Now, the cheif's daughter is stuck with some complete stranger and she has no clue how to survive in a town. Will she ever hear from her pack again? Can she ever get back to the life she knows and loves? Will she and this new werewolf end up falling for each other or refraining from killing each other?

History (optional): He grew up with an abusive dad and a basically useless mom that never stood upf or him. The one time she did, his father killed his mother and he left that night. When he was picked up by the police a week later, he found his father dead from a heart attack. He was then broguht to an orphanage nad was never adopted. Teh moment he came of age, he walked away from the home and never looked back. Max still blames himself for his mother's death and tries to block emotion out of his life so he won't feel that pain again.

Personality: Kind, friendly, helpful. She cares about others, and is very friendly to Shay, knowing how it is to be seperated from her family.
History (optional): A young Werecat that had to leave her tribe due to a illness they were getting, in order to carrying on their bloodline. Though Werecats and Werewolves have had troubles with each other, in areas such as this, they have a more friendly relationship due to peace treaties. Where Werewolves are assosated to the Full Moon, Werecats are associated with the Harvest Moon, the Full Moon directly before Harvest.

History:Alice used to be the adopted child of loners till she fleed them after some weeks of toture saying she was young and the older(the two parents) need to eat then a weakling. She soon found some werewolves,their pack was serparted,so she joined them(Newton's little group).

Werewolves- can change shape on their own free will. They change into largely built wolves and keep their minds when tehy transform.

Personality:kind, loving, aggressive towards other werewolves until they trust each other, and understanding of the people that are his friends

History: he is the first werewolf. his brother is the first vampire. they cant die. when he found his mate and turned her his brother murdered her 80 years afterward s. Then the 10,000 war started. He is a loner. He will never have a pack that will follow him and learn from him. He THINKS. It evolves in the plot. He becomes the alpha male with hopefully Shay as the alpha female. The pack gets reunited under them. He teaches the whole pack how to be city wolves.

History (optional): She was only a baby when her mother died and only a toddler when her father died of a heart attack. She went through many foster familes, but none of them could keep her in the house because she had a habit of running away. When she was fourteen, she ran and never came back. She soon found her older brother, but it took some convinces because he though she was dead. She now 'lives' with him, though she is barely around. When Shay comes, Cassie hangs around more and more, being annoying protective of her brother.

He tries to appear dominate, but would submit if another werewolf challenged him. He acts the player, but acctually holds females in high respect. He comes off as a ladies man because he wasn't in his childhood. He tries to get all the glory he can have since he had none.
History (optional): Garret was the lowest of the low in his other pack, but that pack was destoryed by the same humans as Shay's pack was. It was many years before, so Garret's pack, or what is left of it, has learned the ways of the city.
