I dunno if this'll be considered spam or not, but hopefully it's the latter.

Anyways, does anybody have any RC vehicles ("small" replicas of cars, planes, boats, etc, that are controlled by a transmitter, either wireless or attached to the vehicle with a line, which is called "remote control") if anyone does, what do you have, and what have you done to it? I've got a pretty extensive list of ones I've collected over the years. So, here they are:

Traxxas Stampede, heavily upgraded
Traxxas Slash, moderately upgraded
Traxxas Villain IV, heavily upgraded
Proboat Mini-C, stock
Axial SCX-10 (pictured,) lightly upgraded
Custom built scale rock crawler
HPI Micro RS4, lightly upgraded
Tamiya TA02, lightly upgraded
E-flite BLADE mCX, different body

Here's the SCX

So far I've only done a couple things to it, a Traxxas XL5 electronic speed control, Integy 35 turn lathe motor, metal servo horn and mounts.

I was real into the R/C's about a two years ago. Fuel prices moved me out of the hobby for now. I have a hard time forking over 50 bucks for a gallon of nitro. Anyway here's my list of R/C's

Hpi Savage 4.6, lightly upgraded
Traxxas Revo 2.5r, moderately upgraded
Associated RC 18, stock
Team Losi Micro T, stock
Cen FF MT2, stock

That's a nice set up, USMC...I used to run Nitro cars, but I couldn't stand the maintenance costs, so I do electrics now. I used to race HPI Super Nitros in one of the local hobby shop's Nitro series races.

I've got an electric one of a Subaru Impreza WRX. I love that one. <:

Plus a petrol powered one of some 4x4 monster truck looking thing. I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called, I've not even seen it in ages (in storage).

What feels like ages ago...I had a Team Associated TC3 that I converted into a rally car, and it had a 2003 Impreza WRC body :D IT was an OK road car, but a poor rally car...needless to say, I liquidated it from my inventory.

Maintenance is the worst part. I can only imagine how much money I spent just trying to keep these thing running. I never have much luck with the Cen Mt or the Associated Rc18. Believe it or not the RC18 caught on fire while I was driving it the summer, the ESC and battery were smoked after that. Here's a pic of my Hpi Savage. :D

Same here with the Subaru Impreza WRX WRC. Mine looks like Petter Solberg's championship-winning car from 2003 right down to the number. It's about 1:18 scale and I paid about $20 for it at a Kmart. In 2005 I took it to Grand Woods Park for that year's NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Region XII Championship cross country meet, as the park has an R/C car track. Some little kid saw me playing with it and asked me if he could drive it. And yes, I did let him drive it. Considering how young he was, he did okay. I'm surprised he didn't ask me where I got it.
Other cars I've got include a Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM from the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterchaft (German Touring Car Championship), a Dodge Viper GTS and a Dodge Durango. All of them are electric-powered.

Those're great stepping stones into the world of the RC cars that I use....you should get a picture of two of them, I don't think I've ever seen any like those. ^^

Not sure if this is considered necroposting or not, since the threat really isn't that old.

Anyways, the green Bronco in the posts earlier, has become this:

And it's still not done yet. XD
