First, I just want to tell you about this series I'm currently writing. 'Before Balto' is the series of before the first Balto movie, from different POVs. Expect a sequel to this series.

Meet Racket

This is Racket, he is Balto's father.

Hes a big wimp when it comes to getting in trouble after doing a big stunt like raiding the butcher's place. Racket can be kind and loving when he wants to but don't expect that from him at first sight. Him and his brother were named after their love of starting a conversation.

Story will be here later.

[Here is the first chapter, enjoy!]

A small young brown puppy squeaked as his other, rather rough, little brother bit his ear.

"Stop that Barker!" The puppy cried as his brother once again, bit his ear.
The other pup known as 'Barker' just yipped and wagged his tail.

'Easy now boys.." Their mother warned as a few humans past by and cooed in awe at the young pups.
'Ma, why are they 'aweing' at me? Its not even Puppy Day."

"Well Racket, maybe one of these human pups might buy you when your older, better yet, a musher." The dog replied. Her name was Radiant and she was a pretty radiant dog in appearance too. "Now you two, go and play out in the town, I'll keep watch on this ol' porch."

Barker perked up his ears at Radiant's words and scrambled down the big wooden steps of the porch. Racket sighed and followed his brother, a little more gracefully down the steps.

"And don't get into trouble!" Radiant barked after her pups and chuckled after the two puppies had turned around the corner. She flicked her fluffy gray tail and sighed. "My little boys, I hope you don't get into trouble..."

But Radiant didn't know that her two children were, in fact, going to be in BIG trouble soon.
But what trouble could that be?...

Hehe, that's pretty cool! I'm making my own version of Balto's father myself! His name is currently being decided though. ^^

Glad you like it, second chapter up soon.
