Hey guys! I'm sorta new here, I joined about a month ago and I am just starting to get how everything works around here. I havent started hanging out in the fourms until know. I really love this website and I wanna get to know some people too. There are a few things I would like to ask though. How do I upload an image onto the fourms (I saw the button, just don't understand how to use it)? Are there any good programs I can use for digital art(besides photoshop and Gimp) that is free? Last thing is to all of those who use Tablet PCs, do you know any good ones around $1000 and with a keyboard?

Also I've uploaded a few fan images, can you guys come check them out?

Thanks! You to Aleu. Also guys I forgot to put in some stuff about me, I like Rock music(favorite band is Lifehouse) I am also into Death Metal, Heavy Metal, and basically all music. I am a guitar, saxaphone, piano, and partially drum player. I used to be in a band but found out my schedule is too much so I had to quit.

I am also a lacrosse player. To anyone who does not know what that is, it is basically field hockey except instead of hitting it around you throw a ball around with a stick with a net at the end. I am also a huge photographer. If you wanna see my photos I have a DA gallery ( its the same as my BS username) Any Lax players and music lovers, and photographers out there, love to chat with you.

Hello Wolfdog. By the way, to upload a picture stright from your computer files you go to the attchment part of the page. It will be right underneath your submit button. Once there, click on choose and click on the file you wan to use. Once that is over, click on add the file. If you want to add you file to a certain place on your post, click on place inline(underneath submit once file is added) and cut and paste the inline to where you want the picture to be. Remember: ALWAYS give credit if you are using another artist's lineart.

thanks! That helped me alot! But I still can't upload images for the signature, the uploading thing isn't under the submit button for the signature, is there a reason for this or am I goong to have to contact someone?

That would be because you would have to use the image button. Underneath the subject bar, there should be a list of buttons. Click on the one that says, Img. Between the two boxes that pop up, put the image link, and it should work.

EXAMPLE:

Click on button.

Then this should pop up---

[img] [img/]

Right btween those boxes put the image link. But ONLY do this for links with one basic image.

If you follow these steps yo should see something like below---

Okay, so to get the image link you need to right click on the image then click open with internet? (I'm sorry im newb at this stuff)

Yes. Right click on the image link, then click on copy. Once you are on a new internet page, and you are on Edit Signature in User Control Panel, you paste the image link in between the img button.

EX:

WEB= where you put the web link.

[img]WEB[/img]

K, got it. Thanks a bunch! ........but.... I have vista on my default computer, it doesnt let you do that

so Im going to have to go to my other laptop to do it (my very slow laptop). Anyway, Thanks a bunch Metal!
