Has anyone listened to it, and what do you all think?

Yes, before you ask, I am aware that Miley Cyrus sings a song. Well, technically it's a duet with John Travolta, but the song is only played during the credits (meaning you may or may not have paid close attention to the song during the movie, if you've seen it), but in all honesty, it's not that bad! I mean, sure, it's not the best song I've ever heard, but it's not the absolute worst, either.

Aside from that, the orchestral portions are really good at conveying a mood, don't you think? I mean, you can easily tell which songs were from the TV action sequences, which ones were from the emotional/sad parts, and which ones were from the humorous parts. I gotta say, John Powell is really good at this!

And also, the only other vocal song in the soundtrack, "Barking at the Moon" by Jenny Lewis (never heard of her until I bought the soundtrack) is quite good. Now, don't get me wrong, but I'm not a fan of country music. But seriously... it's not that bad! I mean, what better song to use for a movie about a dog trying to find his way back to his loving home?

But, that aside, the best song, IMO, is "Scooter Chase." Really kicks butt, that song!

Anyway, enough from me, what about you?

I can't agree with you more! She is young, and Miley has her ups and downs, (usually she kicks butt, though) but "I Thought I Lost You" is amazing. She rocked in that one.

I sometimes like Country, depending on my mood, but, that Jenny Lewis got me. I mean, when I saw Bolt a second time, I was singing her song like crazy. A great song. 9 1/2 out of 10!

I think the action music hit the spot. It was good.

I loved the movie so much!

Good topic!

Well,if there's a song in the Bolt soundtrack,by John Travolta,and Miley Cyrus,I'd give it a rating of 10 out of 10.

I pretty much have the same thoughts as you Swords of the Wolves, ^^. I'm not that big into country either, but I find myself really enjoying these songs. I actually sing "I Thought I Lost You" to work and school just about daily, ^_^. Not really a Miley Cyrus fan, but it sounds great still, ^^. John just makes it all the better too!

My favorite parts are definitely the orchestral side though. I'm simply in love with that insanely catchy acoustic guitar riff that shows up in "The RV Park", "House On Wheels", and "Home At Last/Barking At The Moon (Reprise)." I figured it out on my guitar too, so I usually play it often, even if it is a little repetitive. I think I can safely say that my favorite song is "Rescuing Penny" though. It has so much emotional power in it that I get caught up in it sometimes, =D. "Meet Bolt", "Where Were You On St. Rhino's Day?", "Las Vegas", "Scooter Chase", and "A Fast Train" are all so close though. This soundtrack is probably my favorite soundtrack of all time, I greatly enjoy every single song on the album and can listen to it over and over again for hours with out getting tiresome.

My only concern with the soundtrack is that a majority of the songs are on the short side. It's really not that big of a deal, but some tease just too much being only a minute, or not even a minute long. Ah well though, just more opportunity to listen to the rest of the songs I guess, <3.

I might take a listen ( I actually wanted to find it just to find out who it was singing with Miley Cyrus cause it sure didn't sound like Billy ray) The TV show scenes all had good orchestral pieces I really enjoyed them in the film. As for "I thought I lost you" and "Barking at the Moon" I really enjoyed the latter it fit well in the movie but the former was not my taste in music but the lyrics went well with the film.
