Ever since I signed up for BS the mods and others have been bothering me because I love kiona, its not a big deal that im making topics that i like kiona, she IS a fan character, and I'm a big fan of her.

I mean serisouly who DOESENT like kiona

They're not getting mad for no reason. It's just that Kiona is created by CatWhoHas14Tails and she hasn't given you permission to use Kiona.

We don't get mad because you like Kiona. We get mad because you broke the rules.

Namely...:
You spammed an awful lot.
You RPed Kiona without her creator's permission.

Yes, but you don't have permission to use Kiona. Only Cat can give you permission to use Kiona, which she hasn't. Kiona isn't your character, nor is she Universal's. She is Cat's character and so you must have Cat's permission.

RPing isn't fan posts. To RP a character you have to either own the character or have the express permission of the character's creator.

Also, a fan character is a character created by someone based on existing characters from a movie/book/etc.
Not a character you are a fan of.

I agree with both Vivid and UK. You don't have permission to use Kiona and you were spamming. I already saw that Cat was ready to give Kiona up for adoption because people would use her without asking. PLease don't spam or use someone's character without permission. She is not a public character. Not everyone can use her.

Well, actually the part about giving up Kiona was an April Fool's joke. But other than that you're perfectly correct.

Oh sorry I didn't know. I only read a few lines. But anyways, spamming and using Kiona without permission shouldn't be done. And they aren't mad at you for no reason. Mods are just doing their jobs.

I will say this once :
Using anything with out premission, that does not belong to you, is Stealing.
Yes, fanimages, renders, fanfics, AMV's, yes, it's "Stealing"
So when you used Kiona, You were using her with out premission.
Trying to put her in a Role-Play, stealing.
To Role-Play with a character, it must be yours. Or you must have the creators premission. (For Fancharacters, like Kiona)
No one wants something they created, stolen. It's not "right"
You can be a fan of something, but don't steal it.

Liking Kiona is fine. Doing stuff with Kiona, like RPing, putting her in fanfics, claiming she's yours, etc. without the explicit permission of Catwhohas14tails is not fine.

Yes, I'm just reiterating what was said before, but I find that sometimes it helps drive the point further into the mind.
