Childish Antics.

Okay, so I know I don't come here much -- or on Baltosource at all -- anymore, but I was looking around on the forums and couldn't help but laugh. Some of the people here can be such children, when they claim they're older.(I wouldn't bash actual children -- like from the age of 12 and under.) And I mean honestly, the mods have alot to handle. Some of these people get reported, other don't until later. I guess it just bugs me that the fact these people are willing to take certain time out of their day and waste another person's time. I know it happens alot, but I have been thinking about this alot. I love this site, and it just makes me angry that people would do this.

I know I, myself, have made some bad choices here sometimes, before. However, I don't think I'd ever make the choice of crying and whining if I don't get to use someone's character or if they have the same name as me. It also vexes me when another person uses other people's name in their rants, or insults others right there. I already know that they're doing it for attention, I've run into these things myself. But I mean, honestly, if you claim to be, like, 17, or something and you're doing these, do you realize that these 'children' are more mature than you?

I'm not too sure if there is already a topic like this, but if there is, hey no big deal. Just felt I'd get my feelings out there.

Definitely agree with you there - you really can't ignore the number touchy, tantrum-esque posts being spewed out by these alleged 14 - 17 year olds... I love coming on BS, but honestly, this place has some of the most plain outwardly rude & childish posts I've seen on a forum o.O Of course, I might just need to get out more

Not sure there's much one could do about it though, but to keep telling such people to calm down and act their age... which doesn't always work well.

They do have some pretty entertaining things on here to read, Kiche, so true. But, when the people don't listen, and when the mods are dragged into it, I guess I just don't get why they don't actually stop and think about it. I guess I'm just different, haha.

I notice this too.
I don't think therer is a good solution, but to let the mods handle it.

Yeah, but, the mods already have their hands full. And I know people report them, and I know they get in trouble for it, but not everyone is going to listen to someone who isn't a mod. Y'know?

I know, unless people start "shapeing" Up, I don't think this will stop.

You don't exactly have to say:

"Reported!!!!11!!!11!!", a simple, kind message is what you should give.

To be completely honest, it's waring having to constantly solve other people's arguments.
Most of the time, any arguments can be solved by a simple "Oh, sorry about that" - issue solved.

People here just seem to be incapable of swallowing their pride and instead prefer to just argue the whole time or find a reason to create unnecassary drama.

About reporting, it's preferred if you say nothing.
See something against the rules, just click the report button and we'll see it and deal with it. Saying, in any way, that you reported them just leaves it wide open for people to start going "omg why did you report me!?! D8<".

I've had a 9 year old on BS threaten to kill me for liking Pokemon. I'm ten years older than he is, big mistake.
