Summary:Vampires... They're supposed to live in crypts and burn up in sunlight, right? Wrong.
Beziar D. Tye is a ten thousand year old vampire, and one of the last of his kind. In the world he lives in, humans either don't believe in vampires any more, or they want him dead. Luckily for him, not only vampires are dying out, but so are the ones that hunt them. No one would ever expect an ancient, royal vampire to work at an electronics store, would they? Well, that's exactly where Beziar works.
He lives in the city of Rome, under the assumed name of Ben Tyson, and he passes off his frightening height as the unfortunate affect of gigantism, although it's not as easy to hide his raven-coloured hair, glowing blue eyes, or sharp claws. Despite all his not-so-human features, he found it easy to find a job, and that job happens to be working at an electronics store. Fortunately, most people believe Ben's story that he's a human with gigantism, but he still knows that his peace is a perilous one, and if he makes just one mistake, he could have vampire hunters on his back faster then he could say "blood".
That precious peace of his is threatened one day, when he returns from a two-day vacation to find that a /werewolf/ has started working at his store! Quite true to the myths, vampires and werewolves do not get along, so it's rather needless to say that Ben and this new beast butt heads almost as soon as they're introduced. Humans aren't the only ones with prejudices, and years of shielding himself from any threat don't mix well in Ben: he was instantly wary that this werewolf had come to disrupt his peace, and to make matters worse, not to long after the werewolf shows up, Ben comes to work one day to find one of his co-workers, Sara, dead in the break room. And what's more, a pair of heavily-armed men are waiting there for him.
Well... It looks like Adi's been working on something =D Finally. Well... What to say about this? Not much. It's a story of the type that I've been wanting to write for a while, and it REALLY needs a title D: Once y'all help me out with one I'll probably post the first chapter or however much of it c: Questions and comments and stuff are welcome <3 I might post the occasional teaser, too...
