Steele had just lost the battle with Balto, Balto now has his own mail team! His son has just won the prettiest dog in Nome, Dusty. Or has he? A new dog has just gotten off her flight, and she is BEAUTIFUL! Everybody is talking about how pretty she is, she's even prettier than Dusty and Jenna combined! Steele, of course, likes her and decides to make a move. He thinks she is going to turn him down or only like him for his fame. But Marro, the new dog, begins to like him back, only she likes him for who he is! Everyone is shocked. Only, when Marro decides she wants to be his mate, she reveals to him that she is a wolf, and that is that. Steele realises he can forgive her, he can only do it once. her pups will be wolf-dogs, can Steele handle that? Or is his love too much for him to hate his own children?

A wolf with golden mane stepped off a jet. Marro stepped carefully down the steps. She avoided the crowd of people and ran down a dark alleyway. She stepped into the bright sun and looked at the crowd of people, who were standing on both sides of the street. A huge FINISH poster hung somewhere along the lines and she figured this was a race. "Hey, you. Get out of the way! Your gonna mess up the race!" marro whirled around. "And you are?" she asked. "My name's Kodi," the dog replied. "Oh, well, Kodi,I'm sorry. But you didn't have to be so rude," she retorted. Marro backed up and watched the race. A big malamute raced down the path in front of a dog sled team. "Welcome to Alaska," Marro murmered. The crowd went wild. "Steele! Steele! Go Steele!" the crowd roared. Marro noticed a brown dog who was leading the other team was slightly behind the first team, but didn't win. marro actually thought the dog was cute (Steele) but thought she didn't have a chance.

Steele ran keeping his head up he completely ignored a brown wolfdog further on,he glanced side ways and caught site of the most beautiful young canine he had ever seen,he then was brought back to earth by the sled team now drawing along side him he pulled forwards and just passed them thinking he would talk to the dog(or thats what he thought it was) later.
Dingo weaved through the crowd until he came up beside his brother,Kodi,"gonna be a close race" he whispered "lets see if glory hound wins again" he added sending Kodi and a couple of Dingos friends into fits of silent laughter.He then spotted Marro "who are you supposed to be?" he asked

"that glory hound over there" Dingo sniggered nodding toward Steele "hes an Idiot really" he shook his head still grinning then put on a high pitched voice "oh Steele you're so handsome,oh Steele will you be my mate. really his head needs deflating so he can get throughj doors" this comment sent his friends and Kodi into renewed fits of silent laughter.

Marro pouted. "That's not very nice," she scolded. "Grow up. How would you like it if I told you what I feel about you now?"

Kodi stopped laughing. Dang she was pretty... "Yeah, sorry," he mumbled.

"Oh lighten up kodi,look you're new round here Marro dogs from Nome" dingo gestured around him "well were not really that fond of Steele,especially as he has a habit of doing what he just did" dingo rolled his eyes "and id watch out hell be after you like theres no tomorrow" only a couple of dingos closer friends laughed this time "oh yeah and I'm Baltos son so I've got a bit of a grudge against him anyway" he smled then yelled "go on dad!" the teams were nearing the finish line and then they crossed it,it was too close to call "oh dang" said Dingo.

Dingo yelled out as he saw his dad panting happily "great one dad,do they know who's won yet?" he then whispered something to his friend wich made him howl with laughter unfortunately Steele heard him.
"you want to repeat that wolfdog" Snarled Steele walking up to dingo "or do I have to make you repeat it"
Saba stepped in front of her Dingo "leave off my brother Steele" she snapped then she turned to Dingo "you better get rid of this nasty streak youve got though Dingo,its not funny its just plain mean,I wish you and your stupid little friends better grow up" she then walked off tail held high.

Steele looked very pleased with himself,he grinned at the angry look on Baltos face "well,looks like I get the golden collar again Bingo better luck next year" he sneered he then trotted up to Marro "I noticed you watching,whats your name?" he asked

"oh look here he goes again,after another dog" said Dingo just old enough for steele to hear,Dingo had a nasty smile playing across his face,his friends were now smiling and a few were laughing "'course he never bin anle to get one to like him since that Diptheria run in" he laughed.
