Thought I'd make a suggestion..

Perhaps it'd be a good idea to have a 'Must see Artists/Composer/etc' in the fan sections? Maybe members could vote for galleries to be classed as a must see and the mods for that section could approve it, or it could be Steet/Mods choice. I just thought it would be a nice idea since the Must See Drawings thing was introduced. Plus it's one more target for contributers to aim for in those sections.

I understand there are some cons though. Members may feel jealous of those artists or be upset if they never make it into the section. Which could cause problems...

What do you guys think?

Hmm... I disagree:

As you stated at the end of the post, it could end up with some people gong "Aww Boohwoo! I'm nwot a Must-see Wartwist! PWEASE CAN I BE ONE!!!???????".

Anyway, on the list we have a "Member with most fav's" exc. So I don't think it's needed.

It sounds like a good idea to me,the artists that don't make it could make must see artist,next time around.

I disagree, sorry. Like sep said above. "there's no need to have a "must see" for everything." It would be more like a mess and a war.

Anyway, xD Basically, I think that it's a so-so idea...But it should be only one or the other. Like, we should only have featured artists or only featured drawings...Not both.

I'm pleased with the way it is currently, but, if it changes, I wouldn't mind either. I'm pretty neutral on the idea.

I think it's more interesting to focus on the actual creations, rather than the authors behind them.
I mean, to discover new artists, you need to see their creations - showing the gallery names won't attract anyone.
As for voting, I'm against it, because "Must-see" lists are made to be subjective, and to give chances for unknown artists to get their artwork promoted. (while very few would vote for them because they aren't popular yet)
