I've noticed a decrease in this lately, but it's still there.
" Omg, I hate preps! " They say they're annoying and exclude them, are mean, etc. But they're being just the way they describe them. I realize the world isn't perfect, but really. That is just plain stupid guys.
I used to be all, " EW I HATE PREPS!! " too but guess what? I shop at Aeropostale the " horrible preppy store of doom " , I care about how I look when I go to school, I say like infront of a lot of stuff that doesn't need it, I talk about guys. I'm only human and I'm me.
I mean really. Sure, they may be a "prep" and they may be mean, but don't hate all "preps" for that reason.

...And this relates to BaltoSource... how?

I'm not sure what the rant it's self has in relevance with the site, but I do know that a number of members were ranting about how much they hate preps on the shoutbox a while ago.

The lesson learned: No matter what clique you're in, somebody is going to hate you. Get over it, and grow up.

Well, I have no problem with preppies. I think they all look well dressed and good high matenice.

Remember folks. One day you'll get out of you high school and middle school world. And you'll be shocked to know that no one on earth gives a fart in a windstorm what music you listen to, what store you shop at, or if mommy and daddy have the bucks to buy you all those fancy goth clothes you wear day in and day out. No one. Then you'll only have your achievements to show what you're worth in this life.

Cliques don't matter. At least, not to anyone with any sense.

And who even classifies people as preps other than angsty 12 year old goths who think shopping at Hot Topic, wearing black, and listening to the same music makes them edgy and unique? The answer; no one.

lols. This sounds like me, only I say it in real life, not on the internet. I for one despise the group/clique known commonly as "preppy" but I don't usually bag on them through the internet. "Preppy" people are girls that are almost clones of each other, who all wear Holister, American Eagle and Abercrombie clothes. Not areopostale, as these preppy people usually are very concieted and believe in spending 75 bucks for a shirt you wash 6 times and it falls apart XXD They are somewhat more judgemental and rude,but you shouldn't fill the forums with your spiteful comments. It's.....unecessary. Just keep it to yourselves. :3

im the oppistite of prep but come on guys, my BESTEST friend is the preppiest girl on the planet. Theirnot all "omg i broke a nail!" lol

I can't say I much like this discrimination either. I wear Hollister ect. and end up classified as a prep. I don't wear it cause it's trendy, I actually HATE how expesive it can be, I usually just pick clothes that're comfortable with colors that I like.
Also the middle school I went to was a 'rich' school and everyone from there was considered a prep when I started highschool, and kids from the other middle schools would avoid us (I'm lucky I already had friends from another middle school).
I have to admit though, pretty much all of the girls at our school look the same (I really can't tell most of them apart) and they wear WAY too much make-up, shorts that are too short, and very low cut shirts. Most of them were also dating seniors when they were freshmen.
The saddest part is that they actually classify themselves as preps and they do act like snobs. I've had to tell off plenty of them for picking on my friends' looks. (we're the weirdos who accept everybody into our 'family' if they are willing to be nice)
Truthfully I feel bad for them, most of them used to be my friends until the whole make-up & boyfriend phase started and they left me behind. I don't assume their personality from their looks, if they're nice to me then I'll be nice to them and may even become their friend. If they're jerks I'll still be nice to them, but I will be a lot quieter and avoid attracting their attention (as usual in school).

That's just my experience with the whole ordeal.

I think we've all learned the lesson here, and NO. I am talking about the site. It happens on the shoutbox, and occasionally on forums.
I know people can put whatever they want in their profiles, but it's in profiles a lot too.
