This game will be the darkest Sonic game ever to be created as the truth about Shadow's existence will finally be uncovered.

And I gotta tell ya, it's looks dark and awesome to me!

Yeah it's cool!But I had this game long time ago....But Sonic Heroes is more cooler.

True Pirkka... people should explain more.

Ok I suppose I know what it is... But it would be better if series or movies uncover secrets not video games. A way they make money.

Very well then... I will explain the best as I can.

Sonic Adventure 2 introduced a mysterious Sonic character known as Shadow the Hedgehog. A black/red hedgehog with red eyes with a mysterious past. He was created as the Ultimate Life Form by Professor Gerald Robotnik, the grandfather of Sonic's arch-enermy, Dr Eggman.

A military group known as GUN burst into a space colony called ARK where Gerald's research, including where Shadow was living in, and took everything away from Gerald. All his research, all his friends that he was working with on the ARK... and his granddaughter, Maria...

50 years later, in the events of Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow was acting out Gerald's orders... collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds to charge up the core of the main weapon of the ARK known as the Eclipse Cannon so that the ARK itself can hurdle itself towards Earth and destroy it so Gerald's revenge against human-kind will be complete...

Not until Shadow remembered a promise he made to Maria about giving people chance to be happy... and almost gave his life up to save the planet Earth from near destruction with the help of Sonic.

And after his amazing return in Sonic Heroes, we gotta ask these questions... Who is Shadow...? What was his real purpose to be created before Gerald went insane...?

And in his next video game, the truth about him will be revealed...

I don't know, I don't have the Gamecube, PS2, or Xbox. But I used to watch Sonic X and I know about Shadow. I think it is cool but it is weird because they make Shadow hold a gun, which is totally weird.
